New Porsche Cayenne Review: ruclips.net/video/pH8GmWH623A/видео.html *Quick Video Correction: Cayenne never used a PDK, I was thinking of Macan. The newest Cayenne uses a TipTronic 8 speed that is quick shifting.*
Ugly must be the new beautiful, I love it, and I love everything that Porsche makes. Nothing in my opinion drives like one. Although service is expensive they are very well built. I have a 2001 Porsche that looks, feels, and drives like a bank vault and handles like a dream. Great review Kevin, keep them coming.
2.5 tonne car doing 0-60 in 5 sec. Is not slow. A45 amg awd turbo hatchback does the same . And thats a hatchback small class car. How many V8 cars you been in .i wonder

I hated the look of the Porsche Cayenne until I actually saw that it was a high-performance vehicle not just something wearing a Porsche badge. Now I really like the cayenne and I really wish I could afford the new turbo GT
I currently have a 2005 Volkswagen Touareg V8 but I'm actually going to get a 2005 Porsche Cayenne Turbo I absolutely love the twin-turbo are amazing car you get the best of both worlds you get a fast car you get SUV four-wheel drive are amazing
I have one. Cayenne Turbo 2006, fully loaded, bought at 52k miles last year, 1 owner, full service history. Has been nothing but problems, it’s been in the shop at least 4 months of the 11 I’ve had it. When it’s running it breaks necks and is so smooth and comfy.
Driveshaft, secondary air pumps, loads of electrical issues especially in the winter, back doors didn’t open(6k to replace), trunk lid had bad motor(1500), eats up oil, horrifying on gas, wheel bearings, interior rattling, radio works when it wants to(nobody can diagnose it, not even the dealership). Then you have very unthought out engineering. For example the headlights can be easily stolen in under a minute with a screwdriver(1200 a piece), my Carbon fiber interior trim cracked In the winter, the battery is located underneath the seat.( takes 30 minutes to install a battery), and the list goes on. The reason I still have it is because I love her when she runs nicely but I regret not buying a brand new one, when service alone has cost me 2 years of car payments. Assume you’re buying a Bentley when you purchase one of these.
My first porsche cayenne had the tan interior with the manual and automatic. 2004. That was so cool. Is that just a tiptronic? I like the blue color! I have a silver 2005 v6 right now.
On these you gotta make sure your water drain plugs remain clear otherwise you get electrical issues. Make sure your coolant pipes are the metal ones. And the centre propshaft bearing is upgraded. Fun suv.👍
Great interior on that '05 model. Big drawback/complaint of these early Cayenne SUV's among Porche loyalists was the body and lights both front and rear greatly resembled the lowly Hyundai Sante Fe vehicles. I am certain the South Koreans tried their level best to achieve the resemblance. BTW - great Soprano's reference. If I recall, Tony bragged about the rare color option when he surprised her with the SUV outside of the restaurant. Keep ^Up^ the excellent content Yo !!! 🔜 💥💯💥
The hilarious thing is that you get these fanboys who hate the Boxster and Cayenne but their beloved company would cease to exist unless they were willing to pay $300k per car in the early 90s.
The only car that ever crapped out on me and left me on the side of the road was my old 2010 Acura TSX which was my first car. Had like 80k miles on it
@@MeynMotorGroup oh wow lol. Isnt that not very good?? My sister's RX 350 she bought it at 60k miles it's now at 104k+ 2 years later and has only broken down once and it was valvoline's fault anw lol
@@MeynMotorGroup 80k isn't too much miles. That's why I'm very drawn to lexus for the luxury and elegance ofc but mainly reliability, that's what scares me abt driving is breaking down in the worst possible place 😂🥲
I have 06 cayenne turbo white/tan interior 113,000 miles brand new sold for 108,000 thousand great condition new tires new plugs coils battery repaired the valve cover gasket what do you think mine is worth
Hmm maybe 18-19k? Def look on cargurus to see what similar models are selling for nationwide and consider entering in information on KBB and Carvana to see what they quote
People like me appreciate you retro-actively looking at vehicles from the early 2000s....i.e. what I term the pre-Infortainment era. The brand name, despite it's ugly styling, trumps it's looks. Peace Kevin.
One of the rich kids at my school got this in high school a couple years after it came out. Kid was a douche but I always thought the car was baller af 🤣
7:18 I felt that "tin can POS"😂. Been deciding on another Japanese vehicle or something German. The reliability of Japanese vehicles is great but I cannot ever find myself enjoying the ride with their shitty interiors. Im sure my ocd has alot to do with that tho
“Saved” Porsche??? Saved Porsche from WHAT, exactly? Ha! Ha! Ha! Yeah…no. Porsche was in absolute no danger of going bankrupt or “out of business” at ANY point this century. 🙄

I think I saw a video somewhere that it has to do with the towing capability or the off-road capability
That interior is super clean and its a V8. If I had a Jay Leno car collection this one probably be in the fleet. Shout out to Jay Leno.
Def is clean!

Honestly tho I used to think these looked awful but now it’s kinda grew on me
Just bought 1 for 3800 in perfect condition!!!!! I agree with this review

The Cayenne does not use a PDK due to it towing capabilities. The Macan does.
Ah yes you're right I was thinking of Macan Cayenne never got it. It used an 8 speed tiptronic that was quick shifting
