It sounds as though the bank/donor already "owns" some of the properties. So, I guess they would want some different properties as collateral for the bond. They could accumulate quite a collection.

I remember when the military cracked down on payday loans for service members 😕 and why. They would get a payday loan for what ever reasons mostly because they'd run out of food or gas, perhaps an emergency. So when it's time to pay the loan off the next month, they still had expenses and couldn't so they only paid the interest on the loan and rolled the loan over for the next month, when they still couldn't pay it, it was rolled over again. So the payday businesses only lend once, but they're receiving compound intest monthly on the initial loan amount. What's wrong with that? Service men and their families were starving.
This guy Trumps loan shark friend is well known for writing outrageous auto loans for young soldiers - 18-19 yr olds - they are barely surviving and out of desperation they get these car loans - at outrageous % rates and then they tack on all types of penalties - they threaten them with pursuing them legally - and ruining their military careers just as they are getting started.

Banks are a key part of the money-laundering chain, and to that extent, are undoubtedly facilitators and enablers. Ax.. is legally responsible for all banking CTR monetary transactions of over $10,000. A CTR report will display suspicious monetary activities. There should be an investigation of Ax... Bank history of the aforementioned client.

The Appellant Court granted that reduction and then gave him Another 10 Days to produce it (after he wasted a month and waited until the very last minute). Now that this Bond is being questioned, the courts have given the financier yet Another 10 Days to prove they can afford to pay the $175 MILLION if and when the payment becomes due (if/when Chump loses his appeal). Meanwhile, this gives Chump MORE TIME to find another solution IF it is determined he has to.
The Cut-Off date for the Appeal Bond has long since past. The Courts should NOT give Chump one more minute. If the financier turns out to be BS, the Appellant Court should DENY Chump's application, thus forcing Chump's immediate payment of the Full $400+ MILLION Judgment amount OR the AG can and should take every property and golden toilet Chump owns and have an open auction.

What's a super high end interest rate now? Examples: Home Depot's APR is now 29.99%. Shell gas cards are now 34%. How can this even be legal? I don't run a balance so it doesn't matter but why are credit card companies allowed to charge such outrageous rates?

I heard on another channel with lawyers, that someone else offered to put up the entire amount of the original judgement, for the bond. That wasn’t disclosed to the appellate court who lowered the bond amount. So he’s going to get slammed for that too. So sleazy
I'm a HUGE Rachael Maddow fan, but I have to say, I'm disappointed in her for not crediting ProPublica for THEIR reporting on this story. I'm also disappointed that she failed to mention how Mr. Hankey changed his story after his first interview with ProPublica. At first, he said he would make the loan for the full amount ($460+ M) and accept real estate as collateral. Later, he changed his tune and said the full amount was not available, and he never agreed to accept real estate as collateral.
It doesn't show in this clip. In the program, she gave credit to Pro Publica at the end of the show, mentioned by name and shown with a graphic. (And a few other news sources that were used.)

I'd like to know why this billionaire has been securing Trump's loans and appeal-bond? What's in it for him?
Another person I follow says the court is re-looking at this bond. Seems in New York you can only bond out 10 % of your assets. This bank does not have enough money to actually do even this lesser bond. If that is true it will come out in other sources.
When is the investigation of this bank and business going to begin
