I mean an item character, one they've already used a lot, over an unfinished or secret character is basically a perfect description for a placeholder. I wanna explain *why* this idea isn’t good
I’m not against joke characters being in games (like Meat in MK for example) but considering this game is relaunching with only 3 new characters, one of them already being revealed, this isn’t gonna make people hyped to play this game if this is one of the relaunch characters
I hated Plant being in Smash because we could’ve gotten someone cooler like Shadow

Multiversus doesn’t have that, they need a strong character roster to get people to play. Banana guard isn’t going to do that. Doesn’t matter if they add better characters in the future if no one’s playing the game.
