Alberto Valdes so sorry for the late reply bro. Absolutely. You probably have a Series 60 Detroit too right? That thing is going to really snap man... It should be 5 inch diameter off the turbo straight back to the muffler too! Pick up a muffler delete pipe from raneys or big rig chrome. They’re pretty cheap man. I can’t remember how much tho.
I miss when I was younger I drove a western star with straight pipes 10 wheel wrecker on occasion I would have to drive in Manhattan it was awsome passing through concrete canyons and letting Jake rip the echo was priceless people would jump on sidewalks! Sounded like a low flying huey!

Your truck sounds awesome bro ! It reminds of when I used to drive a pete that had 7in straight pipes also with a 12.7 Detroit. The only thing that I hated was the drone when you put it on fast idle while being in the sleeper. Good work dude.
Just a tip, idle that old Detroit around 1k to keep the oil pressure up. We had problems with ours cause oil wasn't getting to the top of the engine at the 600 idle

dant387 at a cold start it does that on its own then slowly comes back down.
When idle for long periods set at 1000rpm. Also replace oil pickup tubes every year. They are piss poor plastic design.
