Thanks for your comprehensive review! I'm torn between this lens and the nikkor 14-30 mm f/4 for landscape, events, and occasional astro, so i think you sold the 17-28 mm option!

Thanks!! Ya it’s hard to need both unless someone just needs a smaller lens. I won’t be buying it for the same reason, but was really impressed.
