1984 was the first year for black windshield wiper arms & blades. It was also the first year for the windshield wiper & high beam low leam switches on the steering column too.

Those generation Chev & GMC fullsize pickups & SUVs were produced from 1973 through 1991 except the half ton & three quarter ton regular cab pickups were finished in 1987 & the one ton regular cab pickups were finished in 1989. Like the one ton regular cab pickups, the medium duty models which are those bigger size trucks with the same cab design were also produced from 1973 through 1989.
