1981 Chevrolet C10 Silverado

Up for sale we have a 1981 Chevrolet C10 Silverado. This truck has had a beautiful frame off restoration.
There’s no denying this is one of the nicest ’81 Pick Ups in the country. From the moment you walk up on it you can see the body is rock solid with excellent panel fit and gorgeous body lines. All the gaps at the doors and bed are as close to perfect as you can ask for on one of these Chevy’s. This truck has been redone in the factory Midnight Black color scheme and is slick as a ribbon and is accented by the Silverado Trim Package. All of the Chrome and Stainless on this truck is like new along with the Glass.

Some 81 have only one headlight on each side. Wonder why. This one is sweet.

I wonder if the dual sets of headlights is part of the Silverado package? My ‘86 is a Silverado, and has the dual headlights like this one.

@Mr. E Because, starting with the 1980 C/K trucks, models with the Silverado package (yes, it was STILL a trim package at that time and it was Chevrolet's top-of-the-line; really, it's origins start in the Spring of 1971, it's introduction to the public, when it was originally called Cheyenne Super, order code=YE9, and called that through the 1974 model year; for 1975, the Cheyenne Super is renamed Silverado, also order code=YE9, meaning it continued as the same option, just a different name, obviously) came standard with the rectangular-shaped headlights; the Cheyenne, Scottsdale and Custom Deluxe (2nd most luxurious to base trims, respectively) had the standard round headlights but, could be equipped with the rectangulars at extra cost. The 1981 model year is when the dual headlights first appear and they're standard with the Silverado package and optional (at extra cost, of course) on the 3 lower trim levels so, when and if you see a Cheyenne (1981 was it's final season, in this position), Scottsdale or Custom Deluxe trim (interestingly, for 1988, Custom Deluxe became Cheyenne, of all names, for the base package; that's what I meant by that position) equipped truck with the dual headlights, they were add-on options when new, which is why you see some trucks with the duals and others with the singles. I hope that clears up any confusion.
