I hope they will be convicted of their actions and repent and live for the Lord. I hope Iafeta is in a church that preaches the truth because many people in churches are given half truths. Best thing I was taught is “Holding onto anger is like drinking poison and expecting the other person to die” I try to live by that. Idk if I could ever forgive someone that took my child’s life away. I think this father is someone to celebrate and he should know how admirable he truly is. He clearly a great father and grandfather. He gives me hope for the future of youth. Shane seems like he really wants to make a change. I hope he does!

Matua made a powerful statement and possibly changed this brothers life by his actions. Forgiveness is a powerful tool. Not only for self healing. But for change. If Matua can summon all his strength. Dig deep into his soul and find the courage to forgive his sons killers. Then the least these men can do is change their lives and try to be better men. Help change other young mens lives. Such a noble thing to do Matua. I respect & love you for this. Aroha & tautoko to all my Poly Whanau/Aiga. Love you all
