I got into MiT this year as well for Fall’23 as a graduate student as well (coming from a tier-2 private college) . I didn’t even qualify Mains back in 2018. Don’t ever think if you didn’t make it to IITs your dream of studying at these universities is over I know many from VIT, Manipal, and even other unknown small college students who go to top Ivy Leagues for Masters. Once you are done with 12th you need to move past JEE. It’s a vague measure of your interests. Even though I had 40/360 in Mains I just worked towards my passion in engineering. MiT cares about innovative mindset more than scores. Don’t underestimate yourself ever.

Mahit studied from allen surat and thats exactly where i am studying too, our sir used to talk about how when he came to doubt sessions it was hard to tell if he was clearing sirs doubts or sir was clearing his

Guys Getting into MIT is really really tough like they want a student who is overall smart like not only in studies ...and if you want to go for bachelors in MIT scoring 1600/1600 In SAT will not help you in getting into MIT like you must have extra activities same goes for Harvard , stanford and other ivy leagues

I think we can also join MIT through SAT or ACT exam and SAT is a easier way of joining MIT.
No for mit only sat is not required you need to win international olympiads , mit is no joke you really need to be top of the top to get there , sat is very easy exam
@@manthansagarI think you can enter universities like Harvard, MIT, etc by giving SAT/GRE, TOEFL,etc but on one condition I.e. You have to clear all the fees or in other words you have to be rich in order to get into.

He made the right choice. The IIT schools are absolutely trash from an outside of india POV. The Western schools are all much better even the lower tier ones in terms of opening up doors. MIT is by far the best place to be in the world for anything in STEM. You can write yourself a job offer or resersch position virtually anywhere with a degree from MIT.
