    Hard work never pays off. Inflation will always make the money you earn useless. Get your money to work for you if you can. Investing is the only way but it's almost impossible to invest when all your money is going to housing and food.

    I don't understand people either. I started reading psychology books as a teenager because I thought that maybe if I understood people I'd be able to stop the bullying. Maybe I'd be able to make friends and go eat lunch at the food court in the mall like other teenagers did.
    Yeah... Didn't work. But, I still find psychology interesting.
    Female homelessness is sad. Most of them end up that way due to domestic violence and the vulnerability of that situation more than doubles their odds of being graped.

    People don’t realize, but most people normally only remember 20% of their degree for immediate use in the workplace. It’s mainly theory. But it gives them a rounded understanding of the field they’re getting into.

To name a few;winning the lottery, inheritance from a rich relative, huge insurance pay out, finding random pile of cash, seemingly worthless antique turning out to be worth a lot, legal settlement payout, investments, etc. itd be interesting to go in depth how they sell these ideas of hope "it could happen to you" type story lines to keep us from opting out

    As a general Gen Z born in 98 I work hard. You’re seeing a lot of younger gen Z that wasn’t apart of the workforce in the pandemic. The ones who had homeschooling and mainly played games or watched TikTok instead of learning.
    I was an appliance tech in the pandemic driving my service van to peoples houses getting paid 14 dollars. I lived in a office attic in the pandemic because I couldn’t afford rent in a normal apartment. My room came with a responsibility. I was to guard the 3 story office building when everyone worked from home. Walking around a giant empty old building is scary. It sounded like chucky the doll was running around at night. Then in the morning I went to dix appliances. I also did some schooling, but it felt like the world was ending. I was off and on.

      @ I'm lucky enough to not have been homeless, but I've been close. It wasn't a cakewalk during the pandemic for most older Gen Z, though.
      I love the videos, but your issues are with the younger Gen Z, not with those born between 1995-2000, hopefully. I tried training two of the new Gen Zs, and it's impossible. They really don't work. It's insane. I can't believe half the stuff they get away with-it would have gotten me fired in my earlier jobs.
      They don't even listen. You could literally hand the younger Gen Z a sheet of answers to their problems, and they'll ignore you because they once saw a video that said blah blah blah. 😑

    It will be interesting to see the conflicts of regular workers who were former managers flair up in conflict because of competitiveness and egoism of towards each other and of the current management team. For If I was hiring the title manager in the CV would disqualify them automatically from that job with the economy as it is because of the over abundance of them and the other reality that the current work force that never even had a snuff of that position of not wanting to work with work workaholics. In the short and long term this would hurt production and the bottom line.

    How young are the people working with you. Did they stop using microsoft office in school, because i been using that software since middle school all the way up to college. Microsoft excel, I can understand depending on what college courses you take iyou can have 1-2 courses that would use excel. Plus even Boomer and millenials are not savy with that program, I have been the main guy responsible for teaching them at work or the main guy they ask how to do this. How to add this function so it can calculate the total automatically. How to covert this data sheet into a graph etc. But then again Im from New York, im not sure how the education system function outside this state are they getting proper funding or any at all.

    • @johngrimes412
      @johngrimes412 3 дня назад

      No. You're the one overgeneralizing around the concept of a better company. Although some companies will be better to the staff if they have a high demand, the minute the work dries up or they can automate the position, they will get rid of you in a heart beat. Employees are disposable, and unicorn companies don't exist. Some companies like to create the facade that the company is like a family, but this is only to get more work out of the staff. Companies will purge old staff and break every rule imaginable when it benefits them. They would rather pay fines due to it being cheaper than caring about quality of work/life balance for the staff. The biggest companies like Amazon are brutal to their staff, which is why the staff are currently striking. You might be treated better if you're in demand and young, but don't mistake this for it being a good company. You're one injury away from losing everything.
