bought the iPad mini and used it for one month now, absolutely love it, I owned iPad mini 1, 2, 3 in the past and love them. Skipped some minis before I am back again.

I bought my 2018 iPad Pro 12.9” with cellular and 512GB when it came out and it cost about $1,600. I still use it everyday so it is hardly gathering dust. I have traveled throughout the US and parts of Europe with it and been reminded daily on those trips that it is just a little too big and heavy to carry around all the time. Because of its high price I never leave it in a hotel room. I do have an IPad mini on my Christmas list due to the smaller form factor and the chip that can handle AI. Can’t wait.

I recently bought the iPad Mini 7, the first iPad Mini I've ever owned. After using it and my iPad 10th Gen for a while, I decided to trade in the 10th Gen. I would have to agree, the Mini works well as an augment to my iPhone and MacBook Air, more so than the 10th Gen. Thanks for the review!

The new mini7 looks a lot like my mini6. I still use my mini iPad all the time because of the convenient size.

  • @NarendraMnr

Purchased the iPad Mini 7 for the size, hated it as soon as i started using cause i can literally feel the lagging of the display (used iPad Pro and using the iPhone 16 Pro for context) and put it on for sale.
BUT, Here me out. While waiting for a buyer, started using as there's nothing else to do and I started to Love the thing. It's so Good to use.
Just picking it up feels so good strangely. Safe to say, keeping it.

Traded in my air 5 from over 2 years ago for the new mini and me personally I love the smaller size especially for reading. I got the air 5 when I was in university so the ~11inch display made sense especially for note taking, pdf annotating, split screen etc. but found it too big for casual reading, then as soon as I graduated I barely used it except for watching videos. The portability for me is sooo much more worth it with the mini (+ the display is pretty much the same so I dont have any complaints of downgrading), I don't use it heavily enough to notice the difference between the m1 and a17 so the size alone was reason enough to make the switch.

  • @jammies701

Improved standby time is nice. My mini 6 only lasts a few days sitting around

I had the m4 11” and while the display was magical it was overkill for my uses. I sold it and grabbed a 256 gb mini and it’s probably my favorite piece of tech I’ve had in a decade. Specs are great, but they don’t always tell the whole story.

  • @MikesVegas
    @MikesVegas 13 дней назад

If it wasn’t so dang expensive, I’d buy one. I’ve had the mini 2, 4 and 5 ($399) I’m using the iPad 10 now ($259) and loving the size. $500 for a smaller iPad doesn’t seem justifiably right now. 😎

Great review as always. Question: Are you able to use Instagram on the mini in full scren? The genius at the local apple store insisted it would crash. I need something bigger than a iphone mainly for IG as we put up a lot of fitness content..and the iphone screens are a bit smallish. Thanks

I have a m1 iPad Pro 11 inch and it’s nice but I do like the compact feeling of the iPad mini I used the mini 2 for quite a while before my iPad Pro although I wish the iPad mini had 120hz and mabye oled and it be almost perfect sure am considering getting a iPad mini again.

Really hard to buy this when for just $100 more you can get the Air with much better specs, but then you're stuck with the larger device which I really don't want. Apple made a real lose-lose situation here.

    • @hoyoungwon

@@hoyoungwon That's what I'm saying, it made more sense when they had the same specs, just different screen sizes (and slightly cheap price).

Nice vid mate. I think the talking speed is fine, I run it at 1.25x, but rather than trying to change your speaking speed, having proper subs might be an alternative. However, that'll always be a preference thing
I have the 6, love it basically only for the size, and I'd love to upgrade for the new processor, but no 120Hz and the crap trade-in value is a buzzkill

I have to disagree on the screen. It looks nice, until I scroll. It just looks so stuttery compared to my Fold 4. It really should've gotten a higher refresh screen. I like everything else about it. I just bought one cause I always wanted one, and I am gonna use it for work.
