Here is the Atlas Tree I was running most of the time, it will still vary depending on what you want to do but this is generally very good for low map MFing. poeplanner.com/a/9Eh
I feel cheated... I've been struggling a lot with gold, only getting 4-14k/map... First map I do after watching this: 33,4k :O This changes everything for me.
this is a bad advice video, the bottom line is he paid 1.7 divine for containment, put in deli orbs on a t1 map, used risk scarabs and spent ages rolling boxes to receive 80K odd gold. He didn't even show the atlas tree correctly or link it. You are best off just running glacier t16 using titanic, legends, evo, torment, elder and you can make 1 million gold per hour. Each map will cost you 10c for the map (buy from maroll bulk tool for 8 mod corrupt), 5c for legend, 1c for torment, 1c for elder, 2c for evo and 3c for domination and u get 50K gold spec in to packed with energy, guarded hoards, the price of progress, unrelenting torment, paranormal meeting, assign niko points, assign shrine points, assign invasion adversaries. Dance of destruction increased gold but you need good dmg for this one. remember gold is about investing to obtain it while min maxing profit per h, you don't get profit from a t1 map such as t17 map drops
I think you missed both the point and some of the info I relayed in the video. The containment portion was a demo to show that you could approach nearly 100k gold even in a T1 map if you understand how to generate gold. This content is made so people understand the basic principles of generating gold so they can engage in the league mechanic even if they don't have a character that can do juiced end game content or want to enjoy casual low tier magic finding. You don't have to spend a single deli orb because you can make 20 delirious 8mod maps for one map with about 8c worth of scarabs, which I explained in the video. That being said, these same strategies can be applied to end game as well and some of these work just as well or even better than titanic glacier farming and are much easier.
This is perfect for me since I just make a ton of test builds. This makes for a good solution to keep gold flowing and I can use the test build I’m on or if needed I can run it on my faster PS/Locus trixter. He’s a little budget badass speed demon. Granted I’ll have swap to some gear out but with movement he’ll still be rather safe.
I think gold is some sort of item conversion, so i assume blue wisps are bad but the others are good. I assume item level matters as well because the difference between t14 to t16 seemed quite large, do you know if item level affects thing? ive been doing glacier with ritual on atlas, 1 deli orb, and 2 titanic scarabs(no loot tiles) 2 torment and 1 elder. back track and do all the rituals if boss room has ritual, or if ritual is good variant.
Item level does seem to impact the amount of gold that drops in each pile, in these T1 maps the gold drops tend to be like 20-120 each, in T9 maps they are more like 50-170 and in T16s I've seen as high as 800. T17s are much higher too. I actually have a video in the description where I explained exactly how I think item level (or more specifically item affix tiers) impact the drop size of gold. That being said, you can still just get thousands of little piles to drop like I am here and still get good gold income :D
One thing I am certain of extra content that sinergises extremely well with gold drop. Alva, I mean the mobs when we are creating the temple not outside or in a temple. Just put them all magic and I get a lot of fat gold like 5k to 7k gold per alva.
@@BehindEyesGamingPOE 2 scarabs taht increased alva pack and magic mobs plus de 30% in the tree all mobs became magic inside, I use also the scarab of 40% magic influence hordes the last is optional (I am using wisp but I agree doesn't look like they do anything I what regards gold not saying they are bad at all I get a div every 3 maps cause of them) have fun
@@overshare7 I tested it for 5 maps and for each incursion I got 1-2k gold, for the amount of magic monsters killed I should have gotten at least 10k each if they were native and besides that they still dropped a ton of items which means the conversion rate to gold is that of non-native monsters. So in conclusion alva is okay for casual mapping extra gold but not good for juiced MF gold farming.
In white maps tons of builds with okay defenses and good damage can do it, if you want to run 8-16 mod T16s though you need a really specialized and probably very expensive build. As mentioned Holy Relic of Conviction is something Balor was running to do all mods with success.
Hey @Behind Eyes Gaming . Amazing guide. Could u advice, i have 10 mirror HH build. What will be best possible scarab for the Glacier 8 mod farm for gold? or there is any better strat? I mean u suggest plenty of stratregys but i didnt understand wich one is top/best. Ty alot.
I don't know about the other scarabs that add monsters but scarab of plenty definitely counts as native monsters. They seem to work differently so you can't generalize like for example plenty won't be resummoned in rituals meanwhile cloister do for some reason.
Hmm that's interesting, I didn't think they were dropping much gold but only tested a few maps since my chaos res is so low on this char. I'll try them out again shortly
I've seen people thinking that the reason why they could work differently is due to interpretation of the text. Plenty says "% increased chance" while cloister has the more unusual phrasing in poe "have 1% additional chance". Meaning if ritual had some sort of multiplier to diminish natural drops from monsters that have been resummoned (like 80% less loot for example), then plenty would have drop chance * 800% increased from scarab * 80% less loot from ritual, whereas cloister could have drop chance * 80% less loot from ritual + 1% chance, ending up with at least a 1% chance regardless of other multipliers.
Rituals drop gold at a reduced rate but if you can pump the monsters up enough it still drops a ton, it's just there isn't enough room on the tree to fit ritual and keep everything else I want. Rogues + Tormented is way harder and barely better in most cases, sometimes even much worse for raw gold (The loot is better though)
@@BehindEyesGamingPOE Nice. I'll try adding a gold flask. Currently doing 8-mod T16 JV. 3 ambush / containment / hordes on a strongbox / shrine atlas with 0% rarity. Gear is pretty tight since I'm a minion build lol. I'm running them more for speed, so no box rolling, no clearing the map before opening boxes, etc. Getting 30k pretty consistently, with spikes up to 50-60k.
It's decent gold if you aren't invested into MF on your char and you are just doing alch and go but doesn't scale well with investment since it's not native to the map. Once you are doing 8 mods if you want gold it's probably best to drop abyss and beyond.
I don't think so but their base drops are so high naturally that when you scale them with titanic scarabs they drop insane gold anyway, at least that's my current theory
@@wiwaffles660 What did you try exactly? How much MF on your char, which scarabs and what kind of map quant/rarity/pack size? I'll roll up a minion MF char some time to test it because it would be a bummer if something is going on with that
@@BehindEyesGamingPOEits possible I goofed up somewhere. Didnt have a lot of room for mf, just two 39 ventors, sundance and an automated gold flask. Tried with eldritch, ghost and shrine scarabs. Tried to copy what i could see of your atlas tree

On T1 maps it's not bad. I wouldn't risk it on yellow or red maps. Don't have a char built that can do all mods. But yeah the reward is great if you can do it haha
