I have listened to hundreds of Cape Breton performers over the years ; this
is one of the best !! , beautiful sound ...both fiddle and guitar !
Unusually warm fiddle sound, and a lot of feel for the tradition. This is a very encouraging sign for Cape Breton's musical heritage.
What a treat!! Beautiful tune, smooth and peppy!
Separated by oceans and many generations, yet still Scotia lives in her people!
Separated but never divided, never lost.
Thank you Creagan!!!!
The more i listen to the magnificence of Celtic colors musicians the more i am biased toward my opinion that there is no music in the states outside of perhaps Bluegrass that deserves my ear. My very distant relatives on my Mothers side were born & raised in Little Judique. So there is hope for me still.
Pure, Clean, entertaining, encouraging. Music being passed on. Love...........
Isn't Scotland great. Rachel you're beauty is stunning.
Love her music and her style of playing.
Love it... so nice to 'fiddle along' with, great fiddling, great accompaniment :)
It makes my ears happy. Thanks to both of you.
This is so lovely to watch and hear. Bravo!
The name of the first tune is Memories of Fr. Angus MacDonnell, a beautiful tune written for a pastor here in Inverness County, by Mike MacDougall. It's published in one of Jerry Holland's books, put out by Paul Cranford. Cheers!
The Second tune I have herd many times and would love to know the name.
Mary Scott by James Scott Skinner. Its in his Logie Collection and probably others too
Very nice!! Thank you.

Her knees are very low on her legs.
I love this song & especially Rachel!, she's really great.
Decent but far off the quality I'm used to hearing from Celtic Colours. Especially the accompaniment is very basic with poor guitar sound
