I recently starting building a watch and fragrance collection. I just this minute ordered a watch repair/battery changing kit. Your video is perfect. Short, concise and to the point. Very well done. And thank you!
Many thanks...easy and very clear and up-close videos which is super helpful. But I used a small plastic ball and applied a bit of pressure to to open the back of the watch...and it worked great!
I tried this with an older Fossil watch (10 to 15 years) and the hands for all three smaller dials popped off and are floating around in the watch face. Is this something I will need to be concerned about with this specific watch? My wife just bought it for me.
Replaced battery with new - but watch still doesn't work. Second hand isn't moving at all. Bought battery off of Ebay. Either my watch is toast or the new battery is dead. Thoughts?
Hum. The battery would have to be very dead for not being able to move any hand. But if only the second hand is not moving, thas is a mecanical problem.
Just took all of my fossil watches and threw them in the trash. Tired of replacing batteries every 6 months. Save your money and buy a Seiko or better.
@@HowToPM , that's not it, tried different batteries, even had a watch repair shop replace the batteries in four different Fossil watches. All the same lasting no longer than 6 months. Done with fossil.

the battery needed is the 364. Duracell,Renata or Sony ones are good to go.
That worked perfectly. Thanks for the heads up.
You saved my life, so helpful video..
Thanks from the bottom of my heart..
Wow way easier than expected didn’t know what to do about the white plastic just popped it right out
where did you get the part that holds the watch still?
Just saved me so much money
Thank you so much. I was actually looking for this video of this particular watch. Appreciate
Thumbs up thanks for the video. Nice watch I have the same one and I need to replace the battery.
Do you move the metal piece holding the battery?
Does all 3 contact points need to be match with watch back small slots ? Or only 2 points matches ?
A battery is positive and negative. There is only two contact point.
@@HowToPMhe’s talking about when you’re unscrewing the back cover
Thanks for your video

Is it possible to open the back without the tool, i have Fossil BQ2047 ?
It is. It's just much easier with the tool and you don't risk to damage your watch with weird combinason of tools.
Do you know tge battery size for a fossil arkitekt fs4271
Very good informative video!! Gracias!!

What is diameter rubber for your watch?
I don't know sorry.
How long should a battery last?
Depend on the quality of you battery. Between a month a 2 years I would say.
On a Fossil watch you're lucky if you get 6 months before the battery is dead again.
What size batterie
For me it was this one : geni.us/SR621SW
Great Thanks
Where do I get the kit
Right here : geni.us/WatchRepair 😉
I got a tool and everything but it’s hard to open it 😢
Keep trying, you can do it!
I actually got it like an hour after commenting 😂😂 it very hard to twist it too 🤦🏻♂️ but thanks I appreciate it💯
Make one where we can see how you take the battery out pls
Will be available soon. I'm curently recording many watch replacing battery videos in the next few weeks.
Thank you for this video.
How do I know what battery my fossil watch takes
The model number of the battery is written on the battery.
I couldn't see how you took out the battery
Mine is plane on the back and i cant open it ☹
You shurely have a small whole to pop out the back cover.
@@HowToPM Yeah i found it. It poped out becaude it was just clipped. I had to find the 0.05mm crack and put a knife in it. It was almost invisible.
Can't get to the battery
You did not post the type of battery you are using.
Yes of course. You can find the link in the description. Or just right here geni.us/SR621SW

Maybe it's just the battery you put inside the watch that doesn't last long.

Guys, my watch don’t open, what do I do?
You may have a different type of cover. I'm actually working on new video about it.
Different watch
ONY 379 Battery SR521SW SR521 Silver Oxide Watch Battery soooooooooo small
At 1:12 you pried out the battery with force. Terrible advice.
What would have been better?
Dinosaur 🦕 dinosaur 🦖
That's facts.
Thats such a stupid design.
