With that last boater, it's so nice to see a total stranger pitch in and help the guy. There's not enough of that today, thanks to a narcissism that spreads faster than Covid.
Many years ago now when we were new to boating, (this was our first time taking the boat out) my wife and I were having a very difficult time loading our boat on the trailer. The area where we were docking prohibited power loading, which I was attempting to do and failing miserably until a good Samaritan came over and taught us an easy way to walk the boat on the trailer. He saved the day and we were more than appreciative. Essentially, we ended up docking the boat again and backing the trailer into the water in what we now call the sweet spot. This is where the trailer is deep enough to load the boat but not so deep that it floats and ends up being uneven when we pull the trailer and boat out of the water. Just placing a long bow line and pulling the boat right on the trailer made the process as simple as could be. All my wife needed to do was tend the aft line and make sure that the stern was kicked out far enough so the boat could be pulled straight on the trailer, and the hand crank did the rest once the boat was about 2/3rd's of the way there. Back then there weren't all these RUclips channels where we could learn from watching other people making the same mistakes we were. Your channel is entertaining and educational at the same time. Sometimes folks need to put their pride away and ask for a little help. Most people are more than willing. Our method of loading also works well on our 28 foot, twin engine walkaround which is about the largest I would go if trailering to and from the ramp.
I just can't figure this out.. ALL these people all these Florida Boater's living a stones throw from the ocean go down to the boat ramp and act like they never stepped foot on a boat in there lives I JUST DON'T GET IT....

Nice story, James. Glad it all worked out for you. Happy and safe boating!
5:15 there’s a bout of sea lice getting around. 😮
When I'm around the dock, I ask my passengers to stay seated. people bouncing around the boat makes it harder to dock.
Nobody move. Nobody do anything until I say " Tie it off".
The dudes with the Trump flag performed exactly as expected.
