This was so much fun to go over these old stories I read in my childhood!

I was a DC guy because my local pharmacies only sold DC, just an occasional Spiderman. Distribution of the 1960s :)

When talking about whirlwind I think you might have been remembering Samurai from the 70s Super Friends cartoon. He could made a whirlwind to fly.

You nailed it. That's exactly what I was thinking of. I definitely was more of a Super Friends guy. Thanks for reminding me

I enjoyed the video! Always like learning new stuff about books. Is Steve also as well versed in DC books?

Yes, but marvel is his specialty.

I've spent more than the past three decades reading tens of thousands of Marvel comics. By comparison, I've only read several thousand DC books so I'm definitely not as well-versed in the Distinguished Competition.

I was hazy on all the Hank Pym name changes so I had to look them up. According to Wikipedia, these are the first appearances:
Tales to Astonish #35 as Ant-Man
Tales to Astonish #49 as Giant-Man
      Avengers #28 as Goliath
      Avengers #59 as Yellowjacket
Secret Invasion: Requiem #1 as Wasp
So, according to that, you'd be right that he's Goliath in Avengers #45.
