Not prior for the test but you should be before employed. Technically you don’t HAVE to be since in the rare case if you do get hired without one they will send you to an EMT school but to be safe I would get one prior. It would increase your chances of getting hired. I was told this by a captain of the fire department
Excellent video very professional training never had no idea so much training was involve in fire fighting my one short coming in observing this video posting man not one black face worse yet not one any other face apart from lets leave it at that still an excellent video.
I live at los Angeles California and is currently going to school to become a firefighter. Is there any possible way I can transfer to Massachusetts to become a firefighter there?
I know this is 1-2 years late. But it depends. Are you trying to become a firefighter in Cali then switch to Mass? Or just transfer schools? I need more context clues in order to help you. Assuming you respond and haven't already figured it out within the last 1-2 years.
Ok. I’m not feeling the seriousness ! Instructors were to laid back. Lol I did my recruit class after 20+ years of doing the job. Ret ff medic and my satisfaction with it was what I put into it ! do the job and know you have to be the one who can save yourself ! Mentally and physically be ready. Bad days are coming ! These instructors are the best we got respect all they bring to give to you these days experience is different from just fires and materials ! Be safe be smart be ready ! God bless u all ! 🇺🇸
I start Tuesday 9/4/18
how'd you do?
Good luck... how did you do?
Excellent depiction of the academy
Do you have to be EMT certified prior to taking the tests and employed?

Not every department in Massachusetts requires there full timers to be an EMT but the majority do! So check first.

Less than one minute in had a latino man...
Always a race issue, it's their fault maybe no other races signed up for this class, unbelievable
Are you assuming their racial identity?
Why would that ever matter??
@@michaeloreagan9758 because we have bills to pay families to take care of like everyone else.

F,
Easy job. Just sit around and do nothing most of the time.
