I was interested to see your technique. I searched the ARC guidelines and there is none for Choking that I could find. Where did you get the idea to do a squeeze on the baby's chest from front to back instead of 'back blows' ? You actually completely discount the 'back blows' technique. Everywhere I have seen the choking technique demonstrated it specifically says "back blows" for complete obstruction and explains the technique as such. Can you please point me in the direction of research which discounts the 'back blows' technique and specifically recommends the chest squeeze that you demonstrate here. ps. I am in Australia.
