Irony lives---all these folks telling Josh Brolin that he needed to focus on being a character actor were talking about their own insecurities. Josh Brolin has, like Johnny Depp and Robert Mitchum, a natural intensity and charisma that translates to leading man, movie star and so on. Pays not to listen to people who see in you what they know they don't have in themselves.
I think he started more in sports but hes been a youtube staple for probably almost 10 yrs - he asks thoughtful questions has a nice comforting luring effect for his guests - i think in depth is a great way to put it asking smaller emotional questions along the way of learning about ones life. I think the guests are just fans of his intvw style at this point
@@BlurskaterCorrect. Started with sports and athletes and now just interviews people from different walks of life. As with Joe Rogan, he asks good questions, listens and allows the conversation to flow naturally
Amazing that actors -- who are supposed to be out on a stage or in a film -- can become terrifically afraid of public ridicule. Aren't they often playing imaginary characters? Not themselves.
He is selling a book. Thats how it works. I used to think like you. Be open my brother. Time gives you perspective. I dont mean to be rude like everybody online.
Barbra Streisand is his step-mother. She and James Brolin met in 1996, married in 1998. Josh had a life long before she was in it. And for the record, having famous parents does not guarantee a life with no struggles. Quite the opposite in most cases.
@@DvdLottyes it does! It gets you In door! He would not be famous if he had different parents. His dad wealthy and famous and Josh been wealthy his whole life. Josh is quite handsome and masculine, even moreso than his own dad. I think that he would have had success regardless of family, if he really wanted it.
Josh appears to be aging into Jeff Bridges.
Yep. Good call.
Josh is sexier......

Never knew those two were in something together. Epic. Loving the vulnerability too. Everyone have fears to overcome - even Thanos ;)
They are also in the 2005 film ”Into the Blue”, a solid thriller/adventure.
Thanos is not afraid

That's why I got so pissed when people would say Feel the fear and do it anyway. Sometimes it keeps you from even functioning.
