New sub ! Liked 🔥🎉😍😉🐸😊
Good Video PK 😊. How do you tell the difference between male and female Perch?
I made a video here about this topic: ruclips.net/video/n0-6JRzNi8c/видео.html
PK A good informational video. I agree about drying out the camo sandworms. I got into a bunch of dinks last week and in no time I went through a bag of gulp worm. When I got home I dried out a bag for my next trip. Berkeley should try to make them firmer but then they will sell less. But it won't be long before serious surf fishers find a firmer bait that works just as well.
Great video!! Can’t wait for the tournament next year!!
I love days like that! 🐟🎣🔥
When you sped it up you sound like your son 😂
Hi PK! Been watching a lot of your vids (they're all great!) and sub to your channel. I'm excited about the 2023 OR Surf Fishing Championship and hope to reg for it next year. I just got into fishing this year. Started with rivers, streams, and lakes and just recently got into jetty fishing and attempted surf perch fishing. Surf perch is the only one that I've been skunked with and hope to improve as times go by and your videos really help! Keep up the great job and I appreciate the work you put into them!
Would love to hear some advice of looking for good spots, in other words, reading rhe surf, looking for sandbars and troughs, etc.
+1 for this...spent 3 days at Pacific Beach last week and got no keepers. I found it hard to identify different types of breaks and troughs from the shore.
@@sf356 Yeah, I think the OR coast up north is tough because there arent big troughs and sand bars, at least that I can see. So, Im really wondering if he just goes to the beach and starts chucking or if he reads the beach and surf for specific characterisitics.
I'm glad you made the seal comment I've heard people say that so many times and I always tell them I cast in the area of the seals on purpose just to show that's not true. Some of my best days (30+ perch obviously not all keepers) are when those seals are around.
PK, good video, nice fish, looked like a thrilling day. Good to see you having fun...lol
I’m headed up to Florence, OR and will surf fish while I’m there. Your vids have helped heaps brother. Hoping get some solid hits :)
I’m a big believer in those Gulp worms.
They work 👍🏼
I should get out there on the beach in the near future. I’m in San Francisco , and the beaches are stocked with like perch. It’s always a fun day out there
I'm curious if you have any updates on your surf rigs. Probably not but it would be nice to see a update anyway. Great video, have a great day 🌤 😀 👍
Is there a monkey for weasels on a teeth cheese?
Good morning PK…just watched your video and it was fantastic. I’m new to your videos so was wondering what part of the coast can i catch these perch?
He has a really good video where he shows you his spots he goes to. Check it out here: ruclips.net/video/XZM_LnBK0Fo/видео.html
Quick question...if you are catching small/no-keepers surfperch should you stay in that spot hoping to get larger fish or move on after catching 10+ small fish?
Drying the gulp worms was a great tip. I tested camo, pumpkin, and red at Pacific Beach in WA last week for a few days. Surprised to find WA surf perch love the red one.
Drying them out doesn't really increase the chance of getting a fish but it sure saves you money. I litterally use 2 each trip since they don't tear off and easily as moist worms.
I rinse off and dry the bag so I can reuse it
Can you please let us know where you are fishing? I am a new resident of Oregon.
Seals and birds are where to fish
I know I know !! :)
In a school.
