The thing I love about AJR, (apart from everything) is that they look like they’re having the time of their lives whenever they perform one of their pieces, and I adore that.
I love this version of the song - it's got such a full sound...the bass and brass go hard! - so much more than the released version. This version makes the recorded version sound mellow and subdued.
Studio versions tend to sound calm and sometimes even dull. Some songs are just made to be performed live and this is one of those songs. If the artist is good then that's definitely when they shine

3:30 after the “here we go” IT JUST FORMED TOGETHER. I LOVED THIS CONCERT! ONE OF THE BEST MEMORIES! P.S: i went.
went where? wasnt it one of those weird online ones?
went in the online one btw
Why is no one talking about the girl playing the trumpet?? She's like, so cool???
Ik, I play trumpet and she sounds sooo good
@@anobesewalnut8yearsago994 Damn she's perfect
Her names arnetta johnson. I know her personally
@@iamfokus Nice!!
@@ninobarbey I agree! I can’t get enough of it!
The thing I love about AJR, (apart from everything) is that they look like they’re having the time of their lives whenever they perform one of their pieces, and I adore that.
Friend, they are the band I wish I could be a part of!
this is a band that make live songs sound better than the studio version
tbf any band worth its salt does this
I will forever cherish this video because this is the exact video that made me find you guys and you guys changed my life❤❤
This was my first AJR song I ever heard, and it's one of my all time favorite songs. It's just too awesome for words.
Samee
Weak
My favorite AJR song is Worlds Smallest Violin
Weak is nice too
I just like the song even more after hearing its back story. ❤
Yeah
Same. I’m glad I’m not the only one.
I love this version of the song - it's got such a full sound...the bass and brass go hard! - so much more than the released version. This version makes the recorded version sound mellow and subdued.
The live brass definitely made the song even better.
It comes with a bang
Studio versions tend to sound calm and sometimes even dull. Some songs are just made to be performed live and this is one of those songs. If the artist is good then that's definitely when they shine
@@chrisXlr8r I agree. The compression in some studio tracks suck all of the life from a live or uncompressed performance.
I love that song. It pertains to my life. Here we go. I think that all the time. Here we go what now. Also low the guys voice. They did that song very well. One a my favorites an will be for a long time.
It feels weird to have been a fan of AJR for 4 years and then have my family hear BANG and have that be one of their favorite songs. They really don't even care for AJR either, they just like the one song
Bang was the first sing I heard on the radio in van . Then I looked it up.now I love them
@@kimberlybahrs7165 That happened to me a few months ago actually
Oof
same thing happened with my mom. every once in while i’ll play her a song (recently i played her world’s smallest violin and 3 o’clock things) and she’ll always say it’s not as good as bang
I'd like to think that immediately after they heard the knock they just sat down and started producing this, while the person who knocked kept knocking but eventually went away because they couldn't hear it over the music.
This was my favorite part of the show I'm so glad they uploaded it
Honestly slowly explaining each and every bit of the song and then ending it with the performance was an incredible idea on AJR’s part
Everyone be saying “this the song that blew them up” but on god they had some absolue bangers that made it a couple years go
I remember hearing 'weak' for the first time
@@brandonf2163 my favorite AJR song!
This process will always fascinate me
Same
Music industry always needs producers, take some courses and you can learn the trade, if you get really good maybe some famous artists will hire you.
I am a train fan. And I am also a AJR fan. And I love how when they take the announcer from the NYC Subway (aka the guy that says STAND CLEAR OF THE CLOSING DOORS PLEASE) and when he says his line I think thats my favorite part. And when i went to NYC for the first time (as of writting this) i Heard THE VOICE! and i loved it. anyway this is amazing!
edit: I wonder if they will ask the person who does the voice of the MBTA (aka the boston subway) to be in their song next!
His name is Charlie Pellett!
You guys really need to post the performance from Burn The House Down. I feel like Jack's speech could be a good motivation quote to start of this year!
That and 100 bad days the finale
@@fzzben5476 Hell yeah! Really loved the small Overture that they put in, usually it's just Finale and 100 Bad Days with the backgrounds of different songs like they did in the Neotheater Tour. That was such a pleasant surprise!
Hell yes! I wish I could relive it all
For Christmas I got some AJR Merch End it was probably my best Christmas gift
Same it was amazing
How long did it take for you to get it? Because mine still hasn't come in the mail yet.
@@caitlynb4849 umm about 3 days it was sad 😔
@@caitlynb4849 Sadly some of us will not be getting it for a while, for me it's likely going to arrive late January.
