This is probably the most memorable boss for me. Her fighting is interesting, but the most important feature is her performance during the fight, and even with vocals from the singer of this game

Absolutely loved this song. Got chills while playing. I wish Noize would have been the final boss! This music and her little backstory really set the stage for it ❤
don't think you quite understood the point of the story if you wanted noize as the final boss XD...the whole point is Kyoko and Misako are looking for two boys they think are their boyfriends but actually the two guys barely remember them. Hasebe and Mami are the final boss for a reason
@@IDyce88 I understand that, just enjoyed the fight a lot. The music and stuff was really epic. Would have made for a good final boss is what I should have said.
@@alexandermckay9521 Noize's backstory doesn't suit a final boss...she was the loser kid friend of Kyoko and when she grew up she became high on rock and roll and fame...she is a rockstar stereotype XD Yeah she looks cool and has great music i don't deny that...but storyline doesn't work...trying to make her the final boss is like trying to fit an American plug into a European outlet.
@@IDyce88 not of this game for sure but it could work if you expanded on it a little had it been another title. She was Kyoko’s friend at one point. It’s not like these games have complex plots anyway.
@@alexandermckay9521 but it does have a complex plot, they put a lot of effort into the story of river city girls...the best side scrolling beat em ups do. streets of rage, river city girls...scott pilgrim. and in case you ask how...well there is plenty of dialogue...cut scenes, the secondary characters all have names and backstories. as for how complex...it depends what your comparing to...river city girls is easily as well fleshed out as a comic...but if you are expecting it to be like a major Halo or mass effect size game then no...but it isnt supposed to be.

Just played through the entire game thanks to game pass. One of the best game soundtracks I've heard in ages. After playing through all the Yakuza games, I think it was due for me to play a game that went back to the roots of the Beat 'em Up Genre. And there wasn't a single dull moment thanks to this soundtrack. Thanks for making one of the best games I've played even better.

The soundtrack for this game is so good, I love Bully and Hunt a lot in particular, they have such an 80s feel to them which really works beautifully.

Took me a few moments but I realized that the songs were coming through boom boxes throughout the stages.
Yep! It's almost an easter egg, but all the vocal Noize songs are indicated with boom boxes :)

Noize is one of my favorite bosses- ever. This song is definitely one of the reasons why. Hell, it's one of the reasons I decided to buy the game- the other reasons being your other songs. Just when i think it couldn't get any better after hearing Bully and The Hunt, i started playing Guitar Hero with Noize (lol) and this theme appeared and blew my mind!!! It's weird i say this cuz i'm more a fan of instrumental than lyrics versions, but hope RCG2 gets more songs with lyrics like this cuz i simply can't get tired of it!!!

Megan McDuffee - Composer Well, it is quite hard to properly pin down a favourite, buuut I’d say this track and Unseen are the ones. But once again, this whole soundtrack overall is top notch, grade-A quality stuff.

So, this boss theme is *technically* a "Noize" song, that means you should be able to equip the Music Player item during the fight to get the increased Damage Buff when fighting against Noize.
I hope that after the smack down I had my Kyoko lay upon Noize's arse, that later on they can find a way to patch up their broken friendship... & that I ever get to find out what the hell Kyoko coulda possibly wanted with all those stolen Basketball Hoops to get herself Expelled over them...
It's a real KILLER TRACK.
