hey guys im the fox in the video my tag is mokou. i have NO idea how to prove its me LMAO but definitely glad i randomly got to run into riddles considering i almost never play elite smash LOL. to clear up some misconceptions ive actually been competing for about a year and a half now im pretty new to the scene. i also avoided online like the plague until this summer actually i started off playing lvl 9 cpus then i went to my first xanadu and just learned from that and vods. if u really do wanna find me i do compete at pretty much any mdva local i can make though mainly xanadu (im on a hiatus rn cuz of irl but ill be back soon) im def way better between the time of this video and my last xanadu vod so its cool seeing how far ive come.

The first stock was the coolest Fox play I've ever seen. I've been playing Fox for awhile, but I've never seen anyone pull off something so beautiful. It wasn't just punish game. It was the insane neutral while playing on top of Riddles the entire first stock. It was perfection!
I remember seeing Mokou make some deep runs at the Xanadu weeklies, probably the second best fox in the region after ZD but their movement is wild and really fun to watch.
From watching this set alone, Mokou looks hell of a lot better than ZD. I watched ZD's sets a lot and he never moves/plays like this. Mokou played so well and so similar to Light that he had Riddles and his chat convinced he was Light that whole time. Nobody ever mistakes ZD gameplay for Light.
you can tell it aint light just by the fact the guy never parries and grabs maybe once a match but still a real good player though just needs to incorporate more than just attacking.

It's insane, I've ran into this one bayo multiple times and I swear is a top player but no where to be found on twitter or in my region. Also shoutout to Noremac who is an insane Midwest Sora that barely competes but would 100% beat top players if he did. Always fun to run into hidden bosses like that
There was a Midwest peach before COVID that was rolling everyone but he stopped playing. Never traveled outside the Midwest but pretty much never lost while there. Wish I could remember the name

If Kazuya wasn't so braindead with his 0-to-death combos he wouldn't even be able to stand up to an onslaught like this. His only saving grace is that getting close to him is a death sentence.

combo heavy characters abuse the hell out of heavy weights, and with kazua being a heavy weight and fox being hugely a combo heavy character, yea, in my eyes, its a very even match up for both of them as kazua is a glass canon and fox dies pretty early
@@DumCheese his weight makes it very easy to combo on, his off stage game is not strong as he could only pick between side b or up b making him not be able to go to stage very easily, especially with a character like fox, so hes not an obsidian canon my guy, kazua is just a very powerful hitter, even tho you can easily combo him due to his weight making him more of a glass canon than people think
Hope nintendo implement rollback netcode for the next smash games. It's a waste when players on this level couldn't travel or attend offline tournaments.
Greninja and Fox aren't even the same archtype. Fox is rush down and Greninja is a whiff punisher. They are indeed different things. Fast doesn't mean rushdown. Thats why Sonic isnt played as rushdown and same with Falcon. Other examples of whiff punishers and not rushdown types. Tnerefore, Greninja can't be compared to fox in terms of "Better or worse Fox." They just aren't on the same page playstyle wise.

I honestly think venia plays greninja the best. Greninja has a disjoints and is just as fast as fox. Out of shield options absolute garbage which hurts him a lot.
I don't think this Fox is nearly as good as Light, and I knew it wasn't him because Light NEVER uses the OG color on him. Surprised Riddles didn't think of that.
