How does the tuning process work? Do I have to take my car to North Carolina for soho to tune it or do they ship out a tuning device like yours? (I am a noob)

I'm currently using Bootmod3 but EcuTek seems next level in comparison so I'm entertaining the thought of switching. As far as servicing the car goes (like at the dealership) for example, does EcuTek allow you to flash back to stock? Then after the routine service flash back to your custom tune? I'm all over the place but really just worried about the dealership messing with / locking the ecu with updates and what not. Just have read some horror stories on the forums lol
The dealer can still flash / lock your ecu even if you flash it back to stock. Unless you tell them specifically not to. I’d suggest one of the obd2 “do not flash” covers. That’s what I’m planning on doing. But I’ve heard dealers can check if the car has ever been flashed even if you flash back to stock.

Also going with ECUtek. Any issue with CO2 check engine and smogging? Does SOHO performance provide remote tuning? Thanks 👍
Nice man!! You'll love the setup! SOHO should be able to. With the kit I have, I can do data long runs and email the file back to them. They can tweet it, send it back and I can re flash it. So they can send you a base tune, then you can do some logs and get it fine tuned! Send them a message!

With ecutek app, can you turn off the rear o2 once you install the catless down pipe?
I'm not sure on the app. But the actually tuner sent me the new file that turned off 02 sensors to get rid of the CEL

Yes cruise works just like stock. You can even switch maps while cruise control is on

Not that I know of. I think a tuner has to set it up. I wish they made a Cobb for the Supra. Love that on my gtr

Cruise still works as normal. You can even witch maps while cruise in activated.

Yeah I’m not too sure. I would just tell them to not mess with your cars computer for regular servicing

Pretty sure I showed how it works. I shows the computer files and then connecting to the car and loading it. Thats all there is to it
