OHHHH MYYYYYY JESUS!!! Simply AMAZING!!! WOW!!! What a gift!! I am TOTALLY in love with your voice!! I want to take just a minute to of your time to share something with you. I don't know why but I am feeling lead to tell you this. Hopefully you won't think I'm a total nut case!!:-( ha... Anyway, here it goes... I have been a fan of yours since the very first time I stumbled across one of your videos here on RUclips a couple of years ago!! I was having trouble deciding on a song for my audition for NBC's "The Voice". After hearing your do Celine"s "To Love You More", I almost decided that I may need to just stay home! ha...I thought with voices like yours out there I would be a fool to audition. After all, it was 10 hrs away anyway!!.I stopped searching for the right song for a couple of weeks. However, music and singing is such a huge part of my definition of self, during those couple of weeks I kept singing just for myself as I always have. One day I stumbled across you again. And AGAIN I was absolutely amazed and actually moved to tears. I "subscribed" to your page and found myself watching every video one after the other. With each video I grew more and more inspired to follow my dreams. Without making a conscious decision, before long I was searching for "that perfect song" again! I decided on a song that I felt was a "safe" song; one I wouldn't be nervous at all about doing. Fast forward to the "day of judgment"... I get to St. Louis, MO all the way from south MS. Singing that song the whole way it seems like now, and realized I must have missed the part in the rules, that THIS particular audition; the "Live" audition we could only sing 30 seconds of a song!! WHAT???... SERIOUSLY??... ughhhh..... Now I had to decide what 30 seconds of the song would be "the" 30 seconds that would tell the judges I had chosen the right song for "me"! (out of EVERY song in the world) I had NOT planned on an acapella audition!! Nor had I planned on what happened next!! It just happened!!.... I was only one person away from "my turn" to impress the judges but for the life of me, I couldn't even remember how the song I had been rehearsing for WEEKS even began!! I was about to lose it!! (more ways than on... lol) I'm sure you can imagine the feeling. lol NOT GOOD!! However, inspired by you and your voice, I decided at the last minute to just "go with God" and sing the song that had been in my head since the day He introduced me to your voice! I didn't really have a choice!! See, as soon as I opened my mouth to tell them the song I was going to sing, "To Love You More" is what came out!! I couldn't say, "Oh no... I meant to say....." lol NO LIE!!... I was sure at that point I should have stayed home and avoided extreme humiliation and severe PTSD from it all!! ha The judges replied, "Celine Dion??"... Answering, I said, "Origionally, yes! However my song choice today is inspired by 'Eric Michael Krop; a guy I accidentally stumbled across on RUclips. You should look him up when you get a chance!! He's pretty AMAZING!! Just saying.... ha" and I totally giggled afterwards!!!..lol. I was able to keep a straight face but I was thinking, "OMG!!! REALLY Jonathon???...What did you just say???...Somebody tell me I haven't blown it already!...." I just sang til they told me to stop! I hadn't planned on singing that song NOR did I plan on saying ANYTHING like that! But I guess God does know best because I went on to the "Blind Audition" after that!:-) I didn't make it on the show and I'm ok with that. (now... ha) It was an such a GREAT experience!! Honestly one of the greatest for me! God must have other plans for me:-)... I said all of that..well... because I'm a bit of a rambler for one lol but mainly because I wanted you to know; if you NEVER know anything else or go any further...Or if you EVER wonder if matter; or question your purpose or if you will ever make a difference/impresstion in the world around you... For what it's worth...You have ALREADY been a divine inspiration to someone somewhere!! ME!!!!!:-) I want to wish you ALL THE BEST SUCCESS!! Keep doing what you're doing! You are truly nothing short of flawlessly AMAZING!! I'm quite sure I'm NOT the only person you have touched with that voice; in turn, inspiring the decision to keep on singing and follow their dreams!! THANK YOU!!!
