10:05 you can actually import your fat channel presets from studio one into the Revelator IO24. Simply save the channel effect and move it into the Presonus > Fat folder. It will show up in the UC app.
@@TheAudioCzar no, actually they are still available. But usually listed under mixers, not audio interfaces. I have 2! Just holds 1 single preset onboard. All other user presets are saved via software. Check 'em out. ruclips.net/video/vUUP7eJwngQ/видео.html
We have all that on our uad interfaces..Funny I just did a video on how you can use the internal i/o matrix to record everything on your computer to a software like OBS
I didn't know UA had a loopback mixer, I never seen it advertised

I guess that Hot Key button was one of the changes in the 1.21 firmware update then. It has hold and click functionality, and works pretty much the same way as the other two software preset buttons now.
How can I mute the mic when listening to monitors when monitor mute button is un-muted? Also how can I mute mic so when I boot up PC the mic is defaulted to mute? Muting the mic is very confusing. Any help would be appreciated.
I've been having a hard time routing the audio properly with Ableton. When I want to monitor the input on the io24 inside Ableton, I haven't figured out how to turn off the monitor sound in Universal Control while still being able to hear it in Ableton... Any tips?
man I really like the feature set of this thing but the lack of a mute button is a deal breaker for me. I need a way to mute my mic when I'm not using it and I am not going into a software interface for something I'm going to be using constantly like this. The only reason I use my goxlr mini is because it has that mute button right on the face of it.
I have something called sign off, it's basically a foot switch that's mutes my mic. I have presented the idea of adding mute functionality to people at PreSonus. We'll see if it happens
@@TheAudioCzar I appreciate you bringing it up with them. Even something minor like a setting in the configuration software to change the behavior of that mute button that already exists on the front panel would be great - I'm not going to be running monitor speakers off the interface, and I'd rather that button just be a mic mute button like my goxlr. Good idea about the foot switch.
Perfect timing! I've had this sitting my cart for 3 days! Lol. Compared to my Apollo, I can't add Preamps on the way in with the Presonus. No biggie with the XMAX pre's(I guess). How do you feel they hold up to some other interface pre's? Thanks man!
I haven't compared to them to other pres, but honestly never expect much from interface pres. They are fine to record, but won't get you clarity or character of a standalone preamp.
Looks like a cool product, those 2 loopbacks and flexibility are pretty awesome.....Thing is, preamps are pretty shite......Pass, unfortunately. Can t they make this with good quality preamps? make it twice the price....I d buy it, not this super average preamps

Hopefully they add effect for Playback/Master/Main too. Compress audio from Discord when your friend suddenly shout
Thanks for the timely review. The Yamaha AG03 and AG06 was a similar predecessor with onboard DSP for $200.
haven't heard of those, you said was? was it discontinued?

Hey Bro, I just bought one as well and I have an Presonus Audiobox 22VSL that was EVEN BETTER THAN THIS, and no one knew about it.

Also where can I get a sign off foot switch? Thanks

Do you recommend for music production making songs and etc
yes, this interface will work fine for that
are you using cloudlifter? and how is the performance of the interface my man
Not using a cloud lifter. Performance has been good. I used it yesterday to go live on RUclips mixing a song
What Mic are you using?

the timing though
