@@robertparker3580 that’s a nice set up.. I tell people to get the PreSonus 1824C over the quantum if they’re running a Windows machine.. The thunderbolt does not play nice with windows pc So you have a good combination Smart choice 🫡✨ Thanks for the comment
@@EmperorKamikaze If you’re running a Windows I will recommend both of them over the PreSonus from my experience it’s a great device but it’s just the thunderbolt is very unreliable and has high clicks and POPS on the windows system .. I’ve had an entry-level Motu M2 and I never got a problem out of it. I also had a antelope‘s and go and never had a problem out of it either as far as reliability on windows.
Sorry to say this, but you didn't do your homework before buying an interface using Thunderbolt protocol. If you 're gonna spend $1k on a flagship audio interface, you should know if your PC is compatible first. Your mistake was assuming that Thunderbolt devices are all plug and play. They are not. Just like with Firewire, it's just a matter of knowing which chipsets are compatible with your system.
I have a alien pc,and just purchased a studio 1824C, I'm happy with it.

Apple is definitely a power grab, Avid is even worse.
The new m4 mac mini reviews unbelievable. Im interested
@@EmperorKamikaze I would have to have a lot of disposable money or be sponsored to choose Apple for music production .. They give me iRobot vibes
Wait, your suggesting using a Wire? Pluging in??? Thats soooo bizarre
Jk. Kids think it should all be wireless lol
@@EmperorKamikaze 😂😂 exactly the modern audio world is bazaar .. everything is about LOOKING GOOD rather than
BEING GOOD … it’s Ludicrous
