This seems like the perfect minimalist cookware too. Imagine living in a tiny little apartment and having this instead of a huge and cumbersome home cookware set.
You did a very thorough overview and I want this set! I have three of Stanley’s smaller sets and didn’t know about this one. Excellent! Going over to Amazon now to get one.
I had one of these in my hand at the store. I kept putting it down and said I'll wait.and see. Glad I watched the video. It looks like it is worth it for the price.
Looks like a great kit. Stanley has great customer service and warranty, after dealing with via email they fixed problem and set me a new product without a hitch. That's how a company gains loyal customers. And as always you did a fantastic job.
Ohhhhh Buddy, Let's Bring It On ! Gonna Be Some Good Eats I'm telling ya ! Thanks Donny Happy 2020 & Happy Trails From The Frosty Maritimes In Canada ATB T God Bless

NIce cook set!! I think this would be the perfect cook set for car camping or the like...compact enough yet not thin and flimsy. Thanks for sharing about this cook set!
The bottoms are very heavy duty. This doesn't feel like a camping cook set. It feels like a high quality set you would use in the kitchen. It's just shaped for easy storage for camping. Take care brother!
Being an rv enthusiast, I can say using household grade cookware is preferable to something designed for camping or backpacking. But...this is a game changer. Home weight cookware that nests as compactly as this is ideal!
Well howdy there Donnie Pavolini of Donnie Pavolini outdoors . Excellent good video brother i appreciate everything you do for the bushcrafting community
I have one of those cook kits and I have cooked a gumbo, Steak gravy, Steamed vegetables, cooked rice, Fried eggs, bacon, pancakes it’s a awesome set. It can be used on convection stovetop, Electric range, gas range, Coleman stove, or on coals it works great on a trivet made by lodge. Thanks for sharing.
DPO is the Man who is in the know, Mississippi has no other that will give you the straight poop on the Stanley products. Great value, great review, great video. Take it from my Brother Donny Pavolini
I have my cook set in the mail. And my Genisis I’ve had for awhile. I’m hoping they both fit snuggly in my pelican case. Im making a small camp kitchen set.
They do sell a slightly smaller version (7.25 inches) of this pan (8.5 inches) separately: www.stanley1913.com/products/adventure-all-in-one-fry-pan-set
That is a nice cook set, and well worth the investment but, if I can drive to the camp site, my cast iron Dutch ovens, and cast iron skillets are going to be making the trip instead.
If you have a 2 burner stove, lots of luck fitting 2 items at once. Of course, over a fire cast iron is #1. I've done everything with a camp oven and a 12 inch skillet over wood.
@@floydvaughn9666 I have a cooking table for cast iron Dutch ovens, and I also have a #8, #10 standard and deep, #12 standard and deep Lodge cast iron Dutch ovens, along with cast iron skillets, pots, pans, and oval roaster with lid and all of the accessories needed to cook with charcoal briquette, lump charcoal, wood, and a propane gas burner that will handle anything I choose to put on it. I have over forty pieces of cast iron cookware and I use it.

To the people complaining about the price of this cook kit and the fact that it is made in China I suggest you go to Amazon and check the price of American made All Clad cookware which is of a similar 3 layer design. To get a similar All Clad set would cost twice as much. And while your at it check the price of a premium cast iron skillet from an American company such as Field. You’ll find the equivalent American made stuff costs twice as much as the Chinese stuff. It’s your choice. Patriotism is commendable but expensive.
That's an awesome question. In truth, with my climate and my menus, the food honestly doesn't last that long. If I'm cooking a lot in one pot, I would bring the Stanley Camp Crock. It keeps things hot a long time.
@@DonnyPavoliniOutdoors Thank you for the quick reply! One more question if I may.... have you actually used the drain holes? I feel like it would be hard to try to hold lid on while also pouring out a heavy pot with two hands? Love the set but can't get past that lid so far :D
To be honest, it's kinda of a bummer to use the holes for straining hot water out of. I used a glove and a cloth. That worked well using the cloth to press the lid against the pot.
Its nice but 140 dollars. If they included the plates and sporks I'd get it but the base camp set goes for 70 on Amazon half the price and you get 22 items.
Egad..no plastic tab. Maybe now the use of smaller gas jet stoves wont result in burn spots. Looking for ward to food cooking demos. Congrats on great new gear.
I completely understand that. That saucepan is amazing. Heats beautifully and doesn't want to scorch so easily in the center like the thin walled ones.
Its a nice set but not a 140.00 dollar nice set. If it was made in the USA Stanley maybe but not made in China Stanley. Stanly meant something back in the 60 70's and was highly respected but now it's made in china like most all products in the USA. My favorite one is, Designed in the USA... made in china lol. I guess that means china's higher end products?
I just unboxed mine and I'm extremely pleased with the quality. It looks even better then my kitchen stainless steel pans which I have had for over a decade. Worth it to me to get quality that I can pass on to family when I'm no longer able to camp.
Sorry Brother but it's the American Workers and mostly the Unions fault that ultimately led to the customers' fault like me being one of them!! I'm not paying double or triple for the same product just cuz it's made in the good ole USA because the Workers Unions and American factory workers want more money in in the USA!!! They got greedy like UPS went on strike in the 1990's and quit working cuz, yea you guessed it!! They wanted more money!! Believe it or not when Sam Walton was alive just about everything that was sold at Wal-Mart was made in America!!!we have to leave that all back in the past now tho and live with the decisions we make!!! Pretty soon you'll be paying 10 bucks for you're Whataburger because restaurant workers want more money too!!!
You are full of it. I grew up in the factory town in Upstate NY that made Oneida Silverware. They never had a union and they still shut down and now make most of their stuff overseas.

Love Stanley gear! Not for the lite weight hiker but bombproof for the car camper.
Damn sexo that's a tank set brother great for a car camp .. I like they took the plastic tab off . Yup it seems they do listen good to see ya brother

Hello Garrick!!! Thank you good brother! Hope you're doing well!
Car camping or in a small cabin cruiser or skiff where you can beach it or anchor in a quiet place to have something to eat, looks like a nice kit.

I have a dream that this saucepan will be sold as a separate product. That would be a hit.
I was just looking to see if that was an option. Here in UK can't even see its possible. To buy the kit at all.

Wow! That's a kit. They need to send one to St. Bernard Acres.
Right on!!! Lol
Can add a steamer basket and boom complete
I got that same set for my friend Captain Thumper
Awesome! He will love it!
Stanley out did themselves with this package.
I found for $5 one can get just the fry pan lid that comes with the pathfinder skillet.
I would love to see a test video.
