On stage "Running into 2024" each horizontal rung actually has 4 positions. The outside edge and inner center piece which is dissected to create an additional two positions. This was validated by Dominic Thompson in the NRL22 FB Group.
@@bankspressley7624 can you point to a source verifying this? As I mentioned the NRL22 Co-Director of Match Operations indicated that there are 4 positions per rung.
@@bankspressley7624 my understanding is that ONLY the center position on each rung is to be divided in half - giving a total of 4 positions (left, middle left, middle right, right) per rung (except the very top rung).
With the targets being so spread out for this COF, you could buy some of those soccer field markers in different colors. Our MD has been using those for the target bases, and it's cleared up a lot of confusion about which target are for each stage. Thanks for the video! Good work as always!
I honestly still use disposable ear plugs. I get them off Amazon in big 200ct boxes and I keep packs in my vehicles, range kit, travel kits, etc. amzn.to/3RYcVUf I did get the Sordins and they're really comfortable, but I'm not all that impressed with the electronics. I had old 3M electronic muffs in the 2000s that were better in terms of clearly amplifying dialogue, but they were really uncomfortable on the ears and head.
Great job as usual. It's annoying because of all the mental gymnastics. If you want to make it more difficult make the targets smaller. Shooters shouldn't be penalized for failing to memorize step 10 on the stage.
Be careful with going prone with the bino harness on. The weak point of any pair of binos is generally around the pivot pin. Put too much force into that point and you will have two completely useless monoculars. Ask me how I know….
I cant say how dumb the sideways roof top is. Who ever designed that stage failed to consider the variants of roof tops at other ranges. 2x4 planks will be gamed by some clubs but not others. It's a completely un uniform stage. Buckets, Barrels, and the pyramid will all be the same regardless of were you go. Our club has a roof top that is so steep its hard to work it even when you sit on it straight. Dumb Dumb Dumb.

For this course of fire the pyramid is divided in half with five positions on the left and five positions on the right.

@jamesnierodzik8542 you are correct.

Thank you for putting these videos out. I'm a MD for our local match, and your videos help me understand the more complicated stages.

I always use different color flags (survey marker flags) for the targets for a given stage. They are not easy to see with naked eye, though.
Always appreciate the time and effort you go to in bringing us these run-throughs. What ear pro do you use or recommend these days?

Love the videos man. Your videos are always great in explaining and helping me with the COF. Also wanted to ask what bag are you using in this video?

I would remove the two 2x4 on the roof top and install shingles for "grip"
I thought about shingles for the rooftop when I built it, but I was being frugal at the time.
