The "African deer" is called a simitar horned oryx. Extinct in Africa but thankfully introduced in Texas and the herds are thriving. The oryx meat is so so good.

All the sudden, we saw a hanging skeleton swaying back and forth, the room was very dark at the time. As my teacher was telling us the story about how they collected the bones of a dead man, and put it together, I was so scared. And worst thing was he then asked students to come forward one by one to look at the skeleton. I had a whole year of nightmare since then. That cabinet looks very similar to the ones in their guest house.

生活在德州农场确实是很惬意之事，景色优美且占地广阔，碧水荡漾绿树成荫，大房子中的家具皆为木制品贴近自然又不失格调，装潢风格尽显德州风范，只是动物尸骸呈设太多了些，晚上冷不丁还是挺吓人的，总之是一派美丽的田园乡村风光。
无聊死而且累死。
