NOTE: These are not Master AIs, just the default Battle Realms AIs selected on random. I can try uploading 1v7 Master AIs sometime later(I have had like 1 win in 100 attempts in that, so getting a successful attempt on video isn't going to be too easy)

Why can't games like these be more popular
Never get bored playing this. Sometimes I played this for days, yes I slept, I make the base self-sufficient, self-producing armies and rallied the armies at defense area. You need a map with narrow entrance to the base. Pump up the epic in game music volume and low a bit the effect volune.

They are working on Battle Realms Steam version as we speak, but yea the work is slow over there.

They are now replacing the old models with high-poly models.
I'm expecting high resolution textures in the later updates, hope it's in their roadmap.

I've played this game for most of my childhood and I didn't know you can use the horses for farming... Awesome vid my good sir! Brings back a LOT of great memories! :)
By watching this video, I just realized that archers may be the most efficient unit the dragon clan has. Seems that it deal decent to good damage on almost every unit it shoots. With Arah's ability to reveal locations, it can use fire arrows to set fire buildings, which will be a very good harassment especially while on horse. Also, horses on peasants seem to be the best use of horses. I wish I knew all of this when I was playing the game 8 years ago
Archers indeed are really good offensively. Just that they have equally poor defense/armor against all units, haha.
Right??? And if people think they're not good against buildings, their Fire Arrows (from the Fireworks Factory) makes them just really good for backline units.

How do you get the archers to not move or melee attack?!
Select them archers and press 'N'. They will hold their ground.

Why do you build a lot of Peasant Hunt??
Lots of Peasant hut have 3 advantages:
1. Makes peasant generation rate very fast, so you can quickly recover army if you lose it
2. You have more max resource limit for rice and water
3. More visibility around the map.

Playing the older version 1.50q. Steam version is still not very stable, under works.
Mate it's very hard to defeat 7 enemies I tried doing 2 teammates and 5 enemies and I still lost we are dragons and our enemies are all serpent
I never use any units in dragon aside samurais
But still my units get killed by their numbers
Haha yes, its quite hard. Don't worry, with enough practice, you will figure your way out too!
@@RoNyDaNightMaRe mate there tactics is to use shitty units and overwhelm my men in numbers their fire units pisses me cause they destroy my towers
is this hard mode? or normal? i try on hard mode on the map that i forget its name, the map that have only 1 way in and out, still i cant finish it even with archer and all of unit full upgraded, i try with samurai to attack and the rest is archer to defend, samurai not enough to wipe 1 enemy.

Keep fighting, you will eventually master the art of beating AIs. It just calls for experience.

That map is supposed to be max 4 players only, how did you set it up to 8 players man?

He wanted rice quickly. A main strategy of Dragon in most team games is to get Geishas first and then get their Keep as fast as possible. Horses on rice help a lot with that

@@RoNyDaNightMaRe i thought that is impossible, because difficult hard AI will attack immediately over 4 minute, because they have trained army more quickly.
Why my maximum people is only 30 and you got 40 ?
You can control that by changing game setting before starting game.
Change population from MEDIUM to HIGH

why do players build stables early?
To get horse fast, before enemy can get them. Horse has many advantages, like faster resource collection, trample damage, etc.
cuz when build early you have advantage.
I love Dragon Clan and it's archers. Arah is my number one Zen master.

Why do peasant need to take horse ?
Horse on rice or water= peasant harvest more rice and water. Very good for faster resources
for me lutos is not a op clan cuz in dragon clan have a several heros can defeat in a battle eve your handling a lotus clan.

P.S. I find dragon a good clan overall, only their armors suck, and they die super quick, but offensively they aint too bad.
