What a treat this video is! W210s are still criminally underappreciated, as are the C-Class based coupe variant from the same era, the C208, perhaps even more so. These cars in non-AMG form make for great value daily transportation. The V6 was as reliable as any 90s Lexus, and I know I'd rather have a nice a W210 or C208 for $10k than a new Camry. I recommend them to people on a budget all the time.
Beautiful machine from the “black sheep” generation of Mercedes. I think the W210 and W220 are quite stunning cars, but a bit misunderstood.. Of course they were going to fail compared to their predecessor’s (W124 and W140), Mercedes unknowingly set themselves up for failure…

In Sweden the W210s and earlier usually rusted away before the engine died.
