Chef Tom is the real deal and I'm proud to call him a friend. Always brings the good vibes on rides and everywhere else.
Tears in my eyes with this one, so many wonderful people. Tailwinds to you, Tom!
Chef Tom, his wife and the whole Gado Gado crew are awesome people! I used to practice bike tricks in the parking lot across from Gado Gado every day when the pandemic first hit and they'd occasionally give me free samples of some of their dishes. They were always incredibly delicious.
As indonesian, im surprsingly heard gado-gado in there, and that is one of My fav food. And what a good story tom have.
I work in the kitchen at a new seasons and we sell the dumplings and fritters. They give em to us raw and we'll crisp them when we need more. So fucking good.
Great video as always Dustin, Tom sounds like a awesome dude. Total respect, I quit drinking and drugs 12 years ago, love my life today with cycling swimming and running.
This is so rad!
I thought i missheard you saying gado gado in first minute. But when tom say Indonesia food now I'm really impressed, that gado gado already reach portland haha. Love from Indonesia ❤️
Pumped to see my local race, the Fitchburg Longsjo Classic represented on the wall of event tags! After many years of decline it was finally killed off by the pandemic. I really hope it returns one day!
Tom's bike is sick! and he seems like a very nice chap 👏
Chef Tom == 100% awesome
Love his partner's take on flavor
Love those little stories! Cyclists united!! Now that’s a t-shirt! 🤘🏼
Yo DK that was good one. Love this stuff and the cargo bike is great of course. Now I need a feed. TTF
You're the man Dustin. Best cycling content on the tube.
Hey DK, I'm from Singapore and so super suprise of the Gado Gado Restaurant , its a kind of a snack/comfort food here , usually i have it with a lot of peanut sauce , soo envy of the bike, love the video👍
Love these videos and LOVE that cargo bike!!! Cheers from SoCal!!!
Two of my favorite guys! So good.
What a great “turned the life around” story through food and cycling!
Great vid! Upset I don’t have something more interesting for dinner now!! Looks like it’s as cold in Portland as here in Munich. Catch you on Thursday! ✌️
Have to go back and revisit this episode from time to time. Can’t wait to go to Portland and eat at one of Chef Tom’s spots!
Thanks DK, so good!
Been following the channel for a couple years dude and this is one of my favorite series you have done. Right on man
Thanks Sean! More in the works.
I love it when people dump the chemicals and replace them with positivity! Thanks Dustin for the vid!
Cool video even cooler dude!! Wish I had quit drinking years sooner than I did. So many adventures missed. Not complaining though just getting old 😎
Love the culture you have in Portland, we are not there yet in Christchurch, New Zealand.
Real world cycling.....effing love it
I've heard of Hi-fi rims. Thanks for sharing.
This was an awesome vid. Favorite in a while. Felt like Bourdain on a bike. More of this please DK!
Love this Dustin. Love that you use your position to platform and focus on interesting voices and stories. Always inspired by your creativity and style of storytelling (and probably subconsciously pinching bits for my own cycling videos!) - cheers!
Gado-Gado and Oma, I know he has a Indonesian connection. Hello from Indonesia
Loved this! What a great story Dustin. You always surprise me.
Thanks again!
Loved this one! Such a nice idea to feature this kinda cyclist!
I just love gado gado, with lontong sticky rice, nomnomnom... indonesian cuisine in general is awesome, we're blessed with a lot of amazing indonesian restaurants here in the Netherlands because of the dutch colonial past (which is not really a great part of the dutch history sadly...).
Selamat makan! And terima kasih! 🙏🏽
Thanks for the awesome videos Mr Klien . We always look forward to your videos and your energy . Thanks for doing what you do for all us cycling enthusiasts. Cheers from Cape Town South Africa
Definitely gonna hit gado gado next time I’m in PDX!!!! Looks so bomb

So much better than just sponsored boring content trying to get people buy things. :)
The rich are beggars too.
So much HiFi love!
Does Tom have some Dutch lineage somewhere? As 'Oma's' means 'Grandma's' in Dutch :-)
May Allah bless Tom
