It would be really useful for consumers if Drive could do a comparison test between FWD vs "AWD" cars and "off-road driving modes" in crossovers. In my opinion, these are merely pure marketing, contributing nothing to making such cars safer on-road or off-road, while relieving consumers of loads of cash in return for very little real ability that their non-AWD models can’t already match.
Seems like such a waste. With a name like X-trail and N-trek it should do something cool and outdoorsy but it seems like its just a black edition xtrail.
Tbh this version is much better than rav4. Earlier it was a competition but now it dropped. This new car feels luxury with budget meanwhile rav4 interior has no quality at all
N Treck? 2.5L engine? Are you sure you read the specs? 1. Sorry, I am not a Nissan nut bag, but it says what the model is at the back of the car. 2. 2.5 litre engine. It is a 1.5 L. And you forgot to mention that the petrol engine does not drive the wheels. The electric motors do that, and the 1.5L petrol is only there to drive the electric motors. Drive has really gone downhill since I left Australia.
You might have this car mixed up with the X-Trail e-Power models. The N-Trek isn't available with Nissan's hybrid system, so sticks with the 2.5-litre engine as found in the rest of the non-hybrid range. You can find more info on the e-Power, and the rest of the range at www.drive.com.au/showrooms/nissan/x-trail/
This is such a great informative review!
And I'm so grateful with my 1 month old Nissan X trail at the moment, working on accessories. Hopefully my wife won't kick me out home.
Really enjoyed this review, thanks Drive team.
Our pleasure!
日本では、1.5リッターですがvcターボエンジンは発電用です。駆動は前後の2モーター駆動です。
販売価格は、約600万円ぐらいです。買って一年経過しました。
運転面白いですよ。
Excellent and thorough review.
Thank you kindly!
I’d like the brown two tone dash and it should have a black roof but I’d give the people mover a miss 😂
❤❤❤ I will visit liverpool nissan🎉🎉🎉
You mentioned ventilated seats. Not available in N-Trek
Hallelujah 🎉
not long ago you'd only get black mirrors, door handles and body cladding on the base model - now people pay extra to have it back!
I need n-trek e-power version
I don't think any x-trail comes with ventilated seats, only heated
Should be option to delete the 3rd row
It is.
Nissan X-trail SV+ or Nissan X-trail N-trek provides more fuel consumption (2024)
2.5L NA with cvt is sooooo gutless
That cvt
That has a reputation for shitting itself post warranty. If they have sorted it out not willing to take the punt
Most adventure is to the mall or soccerfield lol

And the Toyota RAV4 hello.. it's been competing with it for 20 years

@user-zx7mf8kh7p I think the styling is better too but seems like bias reporting.. they must have a bigger PR budget at Toyota
Horrible Dall interior
