This is so cool! Modded Alpha survival challenges sound like a fun RUclips niche! For a future video you could play with the Fragile Mode mod for NSSS which gives you only 1 glass heart.
I recall that snow blocks could be layered with metadata before that was officially added around r1.8... I wonder when that got added, and if that can make this mod better.
Edit: Placing stacked snow layers was added in r1.5, with stacked snow itself being added in b1.5, so some backporting would be required. That being said, I suspect just a snow slab to smooth the edges of cliffs might work well enough.
Haha yeah snow slabs would be a reasonable solution. Backporting code is a little out of my realm of knowledge at the moment lol

Hello I just recently found your channel and you’re really underrated. Unfortunately, there isn't much info on it. I figured out mostly through trial and error.

I made the mistake of enabling snow layers on the monosoho server when that first came out around 2012? Greifed the heck out of snow areas until I turned it off the next day.
