- In this video we'll dive into a discussion about the current state of WoW-Remix, focusing on the thread and bronze farm, and the state most players are in as opposed to those who managed to farm in the first couple of days. Blizzard just announced an update regarding the frog farm situation, where the farmers will have their stats reduced depending on how much they farmed, and players who didn't spam the farm spot will have 3 available quests granting a total of 40k bronze. I made it to about 1/3rd of a max il frogger (2.2m hp 394 il) while having a full time job, by farming priests of Ordos. Check it out its def worth it.
So making throwaway alts and getting them to 70 now may be best Bronze farm? 🤔
@@Sheriff_K Takes a few h to level through raids, and you get about 40k bronze for doing it, and another 40k from the cloak, so if you're in it for mounts/mogs, yeh it's a fast way to just make a new alt I guess.
That bronze compensation after frogging nerf is such a joke.
Imagine getting +50 extra bronze from each stash when Froggers managed to get literal millions in a single day.
Now the day 1 people are reaping the rewards while people who came in late are being gatekept by cloak stats 💀
Y, kinda weird compensation. It is like they want to Tell us that we have to exploit the first day of new content... if we do not, Well than u are just 0.01% of a Player who exploits. Gg and hf with playing like that. They rly couldnt care less. All they want is as many as possible players need to take the most amount of time to farm without leaving the game. Why? Because season 4 got nothing new and they are scared of losing subs before tww..
What groups are you being gatekept from for not farming? Heroic dungeons are insanely easy with 346 and basic cloak upgrades. Are you talking about SoO Mythic? Did you really expect to get into the hardest content in the first week without having to work for it?
It’s a slap in the face when they increase the way you are supposed to play by a measly 25%. I’m glad they are ruining wow to this extent I might be able to quit again.

@@FirstNullLast i was thinking the exact same thing. Came back to wow in DF S3 after 2 1/2 years of not playing, i must say it was kinda fun to play DF but i got most of the things i wanted out of it in 2 months and kept rolling with my subscription again to give myself to wow again, but hell nah with this move they prove to me that their intentions are way worse than what had actually made me quit earlier :))
This frog farming thing is an easy fix, just reduced the gear upgrading cost by 90%
And the cloak? People having 8mio life haha

@@nbkw48 yes......but those stats carry over to your alts. this mode is about farming ults ready for the main game. they have a massive advantage. they should be reset on ground of cheating if not banned for exploiting the game. they KNEW what they was doing was wrong. there is no justification for it.
@@brettrigby2226 the stats that carry over are mostly worthless, the best thing is starting with 100% extra exp from lvl 10 but else its just a bit of stamina and vers, dont get me wrong you feel stronger at the start but it levels out real quick and you can get the max alt cloak before your first character is even lvl 70

Thats totaly true. Fun fact, i did the main(quests and rares) achievments before all that and when i saw the news i was waiting for the new rewards to come on the mail but nothing came. Was a sad part. But isnt going so bad to me so far, i do the dailys(dungeons normal and hc, scenarios and raid quests), got 410 ilvl today and im always doing normal runs to help when i can. But besides all hopium on getting the rewards after the update, im still enjoying the game. Illmérios-Stormrage here. See yall in the game.

It's a complete mess, only fun I had was during leveling but once I hit max level it became a so incredibly terrible, grinding bronze and threats for days the normal way and I'm still like you put it lightyears away from the others.
Yup, cause it takes much less for them to clear the content as well, and they can clear higher, for more threads and bronze
This is exactly why I and many others tried our best to catch up to the froggers. The tuning and scaling in the event feels absolutely terrible. I managed to work my ass off (and a couple hours of Gate farm, although I regret it because I didn't realize it was a worse kind of exploit) to get my cloak to a heroic-ready state, but there's bosses that will absolutely FLOOR you unless you have one of the crazy froggers in your group. I've gotten like 3 days of overall /played time on 1 character. I feel strong now, but I don't like that I felt so pushed to get to this position.
I don't personally think resetting the cloaks is the way to go - just let people have at it and go crazy with the farms. The mode was originally advertised as being OP, ridiculous, and low-stakes. But if you don't do a farm, you aren't OP and you have the terrible knowledge that it will take A LOT of grinding to become OP.
in my opinion, they should either bring the frog farm back, or boost everyone up to the middle point of the top end froggers

I honestly think that they completely fucked the MoP Remix event for the casual player, I thought it was going to be an Event where everyone is OP and I can level all my alts within an hour or two if I spend some time on my main. Sadly its not that at all :/
"I know it's not fair to those that spent 30 hrs farming frogs", no, roll them back, roll back all their stats.
Those farming the frogs turned a PVE non-competitive game mode into a competitive one by their choice. Meta folks and those trying to speed level/min-max are always end up creating stupidly large gaps and turning PVE content into highly competitive based ones, which never bodes well for casual folk.
The hardcore folks need to learn to chill and take a steady pace for once in their lives, rather than trying to be "da best" at everything (in an MMO that won't really matter in 30-50 more years time, let alone a century).
I've touched on that while having discussions with people and here's my take on it. Blizzard handled that exploit farm terribly by letting people keep their power gains, while at the same time locking out all other players from obtaining these by nerfing the farms. This basically sends the message of "hey exploit the game early so you can leave the plebs behind when we nerf it", and it shouldn't be this way. The way mmos work is that you can have anything everyone else has, as long as you put the time in. And there were two main ways that they should have gone and handle this. Either take away the power those players had by rolling back while nerfing the farm, or do nothing, do not nerf it and let everyone else catch up. Their point of view for nerfing this, is that they want to keep the players in game longer, grind bronze longer, grind gear longer etc. I'm fine with that, i get it. Personally, i stay away from that, enjoy the game by grinding bronze through LFR and Group finder, since they buffed the rewards. Once i finish leveling my characters and get the mounts, i won't be logging again. Cheers Sun, have a nice day!
The sad part is that it's always been exploit early. Every expansion there's always an exploit being found by people who rush to the level cap looking to get there before it's fixed.
I honestly don't give a crap about froggers, but I guess it all depends on what your goal was with MOP Remix. Mine is to max out every healer on a new server, buy 10-15 mounts I wanted and a few other tmogs. As soon as I ding 70, the char is put into hibernation until TWW. I (and everyone else) can get a char to 70 in about to days with the natural progression of the game. I see very little point in min-maxing out a char, farming for hours and hours and dealing with crappy scaling because all this progress is going to vanish in around 85 days. Don't let the FOMO affect you peeps, this is content we already have.
The best prt of all of this is that, since I did not commit frog genocide and I am now leveling alts and such, the horder warrior (which is a literal throwaway character by the way) with all the buffs to threads and bronze, is LEAGUES stronger compared to my main remix character. That alone should be enough to describe how I feel about this whole ordeal…
Honestly, I’m not against the exploits even though I haven’t done any of them. Playing remix as it was intended is fun, leveling feels great and not a chore. That overpowered feeling of being level 25 and out DPSing level 60 - 70s feels good. MMOs are meant to be fun and this IS fun!
It’s our fault for not taking advantage of the exploits. I wouldn’t be upset if Blizzard let them keep what they earned, they deserve it for figuring it out.
One solution would be bring back frogs unnerfed, and put a cap on the amount of power you get from them.
So everyone gets the chance to hit that frogger power level, but only those willing to go through the pain.
As of those who have already done it, it's over, you hit the cap. Go play the game normally now.
They had to put on the cloak a cap in the first place. The system, when you can upgrade the cloak without any restrictions and limitations, without a cap - getting us to froggers. With or without frogs - there are always gonna be some exploits to use so it's inevitable. So no max level on a cloak - it's the first Blizzard's mistake. The second one - it's the cost of gear upgrades. Now they're trying to increase bronze earnings, but with that decision all of these mount's and other stuff becoming more accessible, and I don't think that's smart decision. Player has to choose what he want to go for and farm bronze for it, but not getting EVERYTHING that vendor has to offer, and also be able to upgrade his gear.
Not rewarding people who already completed achievements with the thread rewards is such a lazy stupid mistake on blizz's part. There is no reason they could not tally what is completed and mail those rewards to people.
I'm so disappointed at how Blizzard has been managing this since launch. I went in with the highest level of enthusiasm, mostly because of all the advertising of Remix as HUGE FUN, and that was crushed so badly. They have had years to decide what the frogs, and the goats, and any mob in Pandaria should drop. They deserve the hate.
they should never have nerfed the frogs but maybe just institute a flat cap from open world threads, once you reach that cap you can no longer gain any more threads but going into group content gives you some still
It was fun but now every time I play on in group content there's always someone with 6k+ threads running the show.. I can just afk and get my dailies done at the same pace as fighting..
Honestly I quit playing remix after the bait and switch on the cloak working on alts, hitting 70 and having level 21 healers troll saying doing fights wrong because of getting one shot by everything, doing all the dungeons and scenarios to get the trinkets, doing the story quests for unlockable cosmetics, only to then have blizzard add threads to those achievements that are not retroactively given. Feel like the first week was a waste of time and like you stated in the video now cannot get into groups due to cloak not being where others desire them to be. I have enough grindy games to fill my time and although this event started out as fun it quickly because soured by all the bad decisions blizzards part. The frog part should of been known, it happened when it was current content 10 years ago, no PTR even needed to see what was going to happen there.
I am playing remix and basically just going area to area doing achievements and quests. I don’t do raids or dungeons - a decision I made years ago and every time someone convinced me to try it was the same crap. So now I play what I want when I want and how I want. I get my entertainment out of it when escaping the real world and am good. Yes there are things I miss out on but really how important are they? I go into work and talk about a new mount I got or a new book I am reading and which do you think most people are more interested in? The game is a game, not my life so I see the froggers, laughed at their wasting time on something that won’t last after a few days. Yeah they can buy all the stuff but really? Stuff is always changing.
I’m kinda bummed that I did all the quest in three of the zones before these changes and was 45 minutes late to frog far. Sucks but still fun.

Theres always a group of idiots trying to make a job out of playing WoW. They ruin the experience for everyone else (through gatekeeping) and then sell the cure (paid runs). Truly cancer.
how have they? they've ruined it for everyone else. not themselves. See those stats they've farmed on their cloak? goes to their next alt as well. they've cheated to gain an advantage and i suspect there are enough people mad about it for blizzard to act. They will reset or ban the ppl who farmed the frogs. just that one character though not like an account ban. i'm sure they do that if you get caught cheating in any other way, like just ban the character you was cheating on

@@brettrigby2226 Your cloak stats do not carry over to alts. Once you hit a certain achievement then new alts get a boost to cloak stats. No carry over.
Hard for blizz to fix it without making some people mad at this point, they definitely should've had more testing done before the release, but maybe adding diminishing returns on threads after a certain point would help? Possibly even implementing a system that made it so people with less threads would earn more?
bronze would still be an issue though, they should just nerf how much bronze you need to upgrade ilvl, the cost is insane right now
just checked the forums, sounds like they're nerfing the people that farmed frogs, they're also implementing milestone rewards for hitting level 50, 60 and 70 totaling to 40,000 bronze and it'll be available for those who already hit 70
All they need to do is convert the xp gain when you hit lvl 70 to bronze gain. Also uncap the cloaks for alts, having to restart the cloak is so stupid
At this point they just need to own the OP schtick. Put the frog farm back into the game, you marketed this game mode as being OP, let us be OP. I'm not going to stop playing once my character can steamroll raids and what not. I'm going to make more characters so they can do the same.
Not getting compensation for the work I did on my main 70 after the buffs really pissed me off. They should have sent them to us in-game or something. It would also be nice if they gave or alts more of the XP bonus from our main's cloak. Getting a 100% bonus on alts is nice, but not the overpowered awesome experience they promised.
Simple ban game play for all characters that exploited for 30/60 days so they can't be used. They get to sit out any further content until the ban is over. It's like having your butt thrown in jail for doing a minor felony and getting out after you've served your time. I caught a player doing goat farming and wondered what he was doing, tried a couple of rounds and realized what he was up to then left as I thought it was a boring way to enjoy the game.
frogging isnt an exploit... sure the same cant be said for the gate of setting sun but frogs, goats etc were not exploits, and even IF they were blizzard shouldve done their due diligence and looked at old farms from MOP times to make sure it doesnt happen again
punishing players for BLIZZARDS L's is just stupid, it wasnt a case of "kill 10 frogs once and you get 10 million bronze" they DID spent hours farming frogs so they DID put in time and effort, nothing shady was going on like "if youre exactly 4 people and all players in the group talk to this specific npc at this exact time then the frogs will spawn super fast" no it was a case of "kill frog, frog spawn fast" thats not an exploit that is EXACTLY how its intended to work
Just reset the MOP Remix boosters gold, that's is the only place it will effect them

I havnt been to upset aboit the nurfs and changes, however losing put on 500+ threads i should have gotten from achievements that im likly not gotting felt bad

Yup, I was super pissed when I realized they weren't mailed to me. I didn't do the frog farm BECAUSE I was achievement farming first before starting a second character to just power scale.
@@JT-mt6ku Exactly. I saw all of the frog groups in the group finder, but I was busy doing my campaign and achievements. The least Blizz could do is give rewards retroactively.
Think an easy fix would be having a cap for the cloak for the next 30 days or so while bumping the rewards even more than they have. That way it gives others time to catch up while limiting the froggers.
Cap should force reduce existing cloaks down to what the cap is.
cloaks basically dont matter gear upgrades are insanely more impactful
Yeah .. so they can still sell raids for 2 million gold everyday until then, and when war within comes out and their millions of gold gets transferred to retai they will crash the economy.... Yeah great fix

The issue with this whole event is it should have just been an alternative to leveling in a more meaningful way, and it now feels like some super shitty version of SoD.
I ended up rolling a new character, since I wasn't having fun on my first one anyway. Best decision I could have made. Levelling was way faster, and I was stacking way more threads than my original cloak. It still sucks that I missed out on a bunch of good farms, but at least I'm not miserable the whole time
I'm confused by the design philosophy of remix. They seem to want us to be overpowered but the scaling is crazy in the opposite way (getting one-shot by random elite mobs in heroic dungeons, lower levels are stronger than higher levels), the cloak stats don't carry over to alts, the bronze cost for gear upgrades is huge, etc. I'm really not sure what Blizzard wants players to do or how to play this mode.
Hope we get retroactive rewards for Achievements.. I missed out on 2.4k stats because I focused Achievements first.. 😒
I'm more salty about the ones that bought all the cosmetics day 1. I will have to farm several weeks to get them all...
This is the most required & reasonable video about the remix event so far; and needs to reach everyone out there. Personally I agree with your points. The cloak should get a cap, gear upgrades need to be halfed by 80% & catch-up mechanics need to be in place (unless they restore frog farm 🤷🏻♂️). Additionally, some other important changes would be:
1. % bonus xp buff for maxed level players just don't help at all. So that should turn to % bonus bronze once a char is maxed out.
2. Trinkets & accessories obtained from achievements should carry over to alts.
3. Trinkets should be upgradable too.
4. % bonus xp earned on main should reflect in alts without any nerfs.
They could actually just remove the characters (not the account) the frogs were farmed on, it would be like a soft reset.
@@SunshadeWoW I do not trust Blizzard to do that. I killed Bufo rare 4 times a handful of frogs each time, does that make me a frog farmer? My cloak is 31k stamina because I play a lot, not from silly farms like frogs/goats etc. I am nervous about the hotfix they added to the database "Is player a frog farmer" because if they decide "Cloak is high AND they killed a frog = guilty" then I'll be punished for doing nothing wrong. And honestly, the frog farmers did NOTHING wrong either. 4x4 trash farms run 24/7 on live realms. Frog farming was a thing back in MoP (and will be again in MoP classic). The event is being taken too seriously by Blizzard. Turn all the farms back on and let people go ham. It's a 3 month event WHY SO SERIOUS?!
@@DoublebrutalCS2no way you got to 31K Stam without some type of farming of hyper spawn mobs lol I’ve literally played remix for like 8+ hours a day since release by doing group content like dungeons and raids and I’m only at 11k stam. Anyways you shouldn’t be sweating if you didn’t solely focus frogs. I heard they were specifically going to be tracking frogs kills.. my guess is they nerf ppl with more than 100 kills or something like that
@@SunshadeWoW i dont agree with that, while it wasnt the way you were intended to play the game, they DID put in the effort and time to farm it, it wasnt a case of "kill ten frogs get 10million bronze" they spent hours and hours doing it and blizzard removing their characters or resetting their cloaks etc sets a VERY dangerous precedent of "if you dont play the game WE as the COMPANY want you to we WILL take everything you spent your time on" none of what they did was an exploit (aside from setting sun thingy) so it doesnt feel right to punish them for doing it, blizzard shouldve done their due diligence, i mean ALL of these farms where WELL KNOWN during mop so if blizzard knew from the beginning they cared about smooth gameplay they shouldve made sure the most common farm spots werent efficient enough to start, but they didnt, this is blizzards fault, not the players, also its allready stupid to tie cosmetics and player power to the same currency/system, we just went over this with shadowlands and covenants, you shouldnt have to chose between player power and cosmetics, yet here is blizzard again offering me the choice: "you can upgrade one single piece of gear for 50k bronze.... oooor you can buy 8 mounts with it" i wouldnt tie in gear upgrades to bronze, it doesnt make sense there are 2 ways to do it: either put in upgrade tokens that drop from raid bosses/completions and dungeons, something like:
first lfr raid of the day drops a token that upgrades any piece of equipment by 1 level
first normal by 2 levels
first heroic by 3 levels
first mythic by 5 levels
first normal dungeon a day drops a 2 level upgrade token
first heroic drops a 3 level upgrade token
first heroic scenario a 1 lvl upgrade token
all the bazaar daylies reward a 5 level upgrade token
or have the gear dropped scale with your overall ilevel, if your overall item level is 320 then 330 gear drops, if you have 340 then 350 drops and just make it so that each higher dificulty of raid drops MORE gear instead of HIGHER gear that way people that do heroics will still gear up faster then normal players (as they should)
and yes the main issue is the cloak but there are a million ways to fix that without punishing froggers, you could set all max level players to get 80% of the stats the highest cloak user has, he wont get punished for his farming, he is still ahead of everyone else by a decent bit but he isnt ASTRONOMICALLY ahead
@@CB38096 100 frogs is still too low to call exploiting. My /played is 3 days 12 hours 8 minutes and have cleared all raids on normal every day and 2 of them on heroic. Never missed any LFG dailies, killed plenty of rares and world bosses. Quested 2 full zones. I think my average is close to 12 hours a day since it came out?
Rolling back isn’t unfair to frog losers, they used an exploit that shouldn’t be aloud. Its literally impossible to have to stats they do now so blizz could simply see all the players who have an impossible amount of stats implement a simple code removing those and putting their cloak not even at the median but at the lower end of the spectrum don’t feel bad for exploiters fuck them.

The event is supposed to be all about being stupidly OP like private servers with solocraft, they just crank up thread gain so everything is like frogs lol

The issue i have is the people who clearly CHEATED now carry those stats over to their alts and guess what? they level them a lot faster. they have an advantage that they exploited the game for. they're lucky they aren't just banned for life
@@brettrigby2226 I think you're over-exaggerating what exactly the farmers did. Nobody broke the game to do any of these farms. Hyperspawns have always existed, it was just not properly tested by Blizzard to avoid a situation like this with an infinitely scaling item. The main reason the frog farm was so strong is because they dropped Lesser Charms of Good Fortune -- if Blizzard just made it so those Lesser Charm turn-ins didn't give threads/bronze, then the farm would've never been absolutely insane.
I think it'd be unfair to them considering Blizzard left it in despite it having been noticed on the PTR. And also, hyperspawns have always existed and the frogs were extensively farmed back in the day (and are still farmed by collectors to this very day). It is entirely on Blizzard for not catching this.
Having said that, it isn't impossible to catch up to the froggers, but it will require dedication. I managed to get my cloak to a frogger-like state after trying to catch up with a lot of dungeons, and a few tries at other mob farms like the goat farm. Once your cloak and gear get to a certain point you become powerful enough to spam dungeons and floor them -- if you do that you will catch up to the froggers with dedication.
there was plenty of testing, the exploits remaining is their problem for not doing anything to counter ahead of remix's release
I guess that the problem is with you guys that get upset with an event for fun... Its about the lore, the old raids, the mounts, the mogs and toys... I dont give a shit about those with 3 million health one shotting stuff...

I’m just annoyed that they get to feel powerful but the second I put my cloak on an alt I barely feel a power up because the cloak is nerfed on alts and not getting all the stats.
Sorry but its not true that it is hard to find a raid group without a high cloak. There are many raids, but the problem is something else. The people that open these groups are just lasy dudes. They dont check the people that join, they dont check if people have ward equipped, they dont do pulltimer, they dont do any sort of communication who to put the ward on and they dont even know how to kill the bosses in the raid… thats a so much bigger problem than frogfarmers and a much bigger reason to make your own group, also u can decide do not invite grinder and frogfarmer for yourself. I didnt frog farm and im close to 444 gear and i have 30k stamina on my cloak. This event ist just a dream for grinders. There is no fomo about all the transmog, because u have so much time left. Just play on your own pace, there is only the problem you create on your own. Upgrade your gear, toclear mythic easy in 2 weeks, or create an alt to farm more bronce every day. Its just that easy.
just makes the threads drop less the more stats you have and drop more based upon the lower ammount you have once you get to 70 EZ. that way it makes there progression way slower and makes it possible for people who have jobs. to be able to still semi keeping only doing their dailies
They should reset the cloack , it’s not unfair because those 13 hours is = 90 days in its current state. Roll them back , and have them play the game not break it
kinda obtuse to call it a game break when it was a feature for 12 years to farm frogs for coins.
@@CLS_Taco just think about it, I understand your argument right , but do you really think the developers intended to have that behave in that way for this current version of the game? To have something that would make someone miles more powerful then if you didn’t do it. And also , if everyone knew , most people chose to not discuss it in their « bronze and how to get it » type videos before it launched because they most likely knew it would get patched out before release like blizzard normally does. Logically this was an oversight that was not meant to give that much power. If it’s game break you don’t like , then I’ll call it something else but it definitely wasn’t intended since they had to hot fix it
@@CLS_Taco they removed literally almost every other "feature" from 12 years ago for this specific event. you have to have a brain like a brick to think anything other than this not being an intentional "feature" they left in. obviously an exploit and if it weren't for content creators and world first raiders doing it, im sure there would be bans out. they just dont want those optics for a side retail event.

I do not care about the difference. It does not affect me in a negative way. If anything it helps me clear raids daily faster.
Blizzard needs to open the flood gates and dramatically decrease the gear upgrade costs. That way everyone can upgrade their gear and it devalues the froggers. Giving everyone increased bronze doesn’t do anything since the froggers also get it.
They will not have the quests available, but 40k bronze is nothing compared to the hundreds of thousands they farmed

I want the Mannoroth Tusks Transmog, pay 3.000.000 Gold for 2x Mythic Runs and I‘m done with mop remix… sad.
It would not be quite fair to take away from the frog farmers, but it does not need to be everything and it would send an important message for exploiting in the future.
I know it suxs right.. but on the bright side the ones farming or exploiting this methods are the nerds that already have millions of gold. So does it matter to us casuals?
I think a FUN mode should be FUN there should be ways to stack the cloak to INFINITY, they should've just left frogs in and let everyone be OP but they want to time-gate this event so they can add a 25% buff each week...

Yeah the rings are only on the vendor for offspec I guess or for upgrading if you got then at low level. Haven't tested yet

What do I think? I couldn't care less if I'm getting boosted and can't play the game. Although, I care that I just don't have to option to grind and get as strong as them.
I think requiring 40k Bronze to do a full upgrade cycle on your gear when you could have bought 8 different transmog sets for that amount feels really, really bad.
I think its utterly unacceptable that the achievements for Rings, Trinkets & Neck are not account-wide.
I think the cloak should be gaining back an amount of stats of your main's cloak with every level you gain.
I think that it's stupid that we're playing Pandaria with many, many aspects of the modern game but some raids share a lockout between Heroic and Normal mode. To elaborate, I should be allowed to secure a minimum amount of Bronze by completing Normal mode instead of risking losing it all for the day just because I joined a bad group for Heroic. And on the flip side, if I was to complete Heroic first, it should grant me all the Bronze from Normal mode too. To save time. We've seen that kind of mechanics over the years.

I think overall the mode is a GREAT idea but is very, very poorly implemented. It should have been complimentary to the main live game. Raiding for 3 hours each day to collect Bronze, on top of raiding on retail and doing M+ weeklies and whatever else I might want to do? That's ridiculous!
Ban the exploiters, plain and simple. They knew it was a bug and exploited it.
We knew long before the exploits and nerfs that this wasn't the content that was promised. We walked away from the heaping, burning garbage bin of a release and went back to retail. Sadly that's also dead for now, so great time to take a break.
The people who exploited are the ones who actually have time to play the game, since their life is actually playing it... Not punishing this behaviour is just a shame.
Small indie company for real, they use the player base as test subjects to balance their unfinished game mechanics and most likely outsource 90% of their work to even cheaper labor who just cant have the same love for the game imo. So now we are left yet again in a situation which constantly repeats itself in different aspects of this game. Namely that wow devs dont give a fuck and just chase the profits for them, as time is money friend..
they can fix everything, but just nerfing the stupid upgrade cost.. that's all it takes.

Gear upgrades are far more important. I noticed it on my high cloak, after I upgraded my gear I got a huge dps spike. I don't really get why everyone just wants cloak stats.
I thought with Lv 70 i can do raids and all but turns out its so difficult to get in any raid. Even just raids on normal are difficult. This is no fun at all and just feels pointless. For what should i farm bronze and upgrade gear if i can't get into an raud anyway.

If they want people to have fun but also be OP then they should allow every farming option. So everyone could be OP after a period of time ( 2-3 weeks ) after that time they could buff the bosses

The modus is only a week old and even casual gamers are starting to get pretty powerfull by now. Give it another month or two and nearly everyone will be able to solo some of the raids.

I saw some ppl with over 7kk HP by 162k Stamina... 1000 Points Rollback would be NOTHING for these Froggfarmers. it should be 10k MINIMUM.

Joined the event yesterday im 65 atm. Farmed about 50k in 14h of normal gameplay. Meaning if I want all rewards i have to put aorund 2k hours in 3 months for this event only

Blizzard being Blizzard. All they need to do is delete the characters with stats that would be impossible to reach through legit means. These characters are a week old, deleted them now before people can cry about losing their characters.

I got the few cosmestics and mounts I wanted, so iam kinda done with that. I would like to have that for different addons. MoP Cosmetics are 90% unnecessary for me cause I personaly dont like the looks. Legion would have way more Cosmetics I wanted :D So I dont really care about the froggers, cause I dont do raids and stuff.
I think Remix will be remembered as a low point in WoW history. It was supposed to be OP and fun but then they granted that experience to just a few players . It's an ongoing travesty where you are allowed to log on every day to feel inferior.
Yeah I didn’t want to be cringe and hound every website for the best exploits.. I just wanted to enjoy the Pandaria content while I was leveling and figure out the gems for myself. Then I hear about frogs the day before they get nerfed and suddenly I’m 2 months behind lol but I’ve learned that going forward I need to exploit early and often if I want to get into heroic raid content relatively quickly
It’s fine - the one person doing 20x more damage can carry my butt through the raids.
Hopefully you don’t want epic gear because right now mostly only frog farmers are getting into heroic raid content

The latest thing you said might honestly be the best option. Bring the frogs back and put a temporary cap on those who already did it. Give everyone else a week to catch up but put a cap on them as well after getting around 8k stats (which is what the Froggers got). And then after a week just open it up to everyone
in 3 months its all behind us anyway get your free mounts while you can and if there is an way to earn money in a game people will do it. WoW aint changed since i started in LK so why would something change now.
This whole thing makes me sad. I was really excited for the idea of going back to MoP in a low-stakes, OP, silly playthrough of everything -- but the scaling and low bronze acquisition early on was the biggest buzzkill I've gotten from WoW since SL.
I don't think any of the farmers should be punished at all because, at the end of the day, we all just want to be OP and the event is meant to be low-stakes. And it's not like any of these farms weren't ones that were already known about or anything - the hyperspawns were always around and were done extensively back in the day.
I think Blizzard could very easily help solve a lot of these problems by simply reducing the upgrade cost of gear by like... 60-70%? The cloaks do matter, but the gear is an even bigger boost and can absolutely enable you to even solo normal raids once you've gotten your gear to around 430 or so (not overall ilvl). Oh, and scaling needs a lot of love. It's needed love since BfA, back when it was introduced. Just let the playerbase have at it, and make gearing alts better as well.
Edit: My advice to everyone? Don't give up. Blizzard will make things better, and everyone will be able to become OP with the way things currently are as long as you play consistently and set smaller goals (smaller goals enables bigger goals over time).

Pandaria Remix was advertised as a Fun Mode where everyone is overpowered af. Now it's just a shitty place you have to progress with pugs so you're able to upgrade your gear. You need half a million of bronze to upgrade all of your gear. I'd have to do all the raids, all dailys in dungeon, scenario, raiding every day so I can afford that "OP fun mode". Blizz is just disconnected from its fanbase0

So many salty people complaining about frog farms. My cloak has over 50k stamina and not killed a single frog. Just play the game😩 if your worried about player power then spend your bronze on gear upgrades and not mounts/transmogs first.

Not everyone had the chance or possibility to play through MoP. And it may shock you to hear that some people like to actually press buttons and play the game, which is why they are buying it and paying it per month in the first place, rather than afk in front of the screen for 2h.

For the records - I'm not a frog farmer. As a matter of fact I didn't farm anything.
I have levelled uo 3 characters now, my main doesn't have a crazy item level or stats and I'm still having fun.
Why on Earth are so many people hell bent on trashtalking everything? Just don't interact with froggers - ignore them.
Not to mention that the event is just a week old and has still several more months to go. You really think froggers will still have fun playing their overpowered characters with no challenge at all in 2 weeks from now on? No the won't because oneshotting everything becomes boring real fast; you'll enjoy it a couple of times but after a few weeks these people will not play anymore.
If there is something Blizzard should change....well they should lower the bronze costs for upgrading gear, like let's say cut it in half.

Tbh I think people who are doing meta are mostly doing it for just a couple things (aside from wanting to be OP ofc) and then they'll find something else to do. I've worked really hard on my cloak because I wanted to get to heroic and maybe even mythic SoO for the rewards tied to that. After that though? Alt leveling spam, as Blizzard originally envisioned I presume.

I've gotten my character to a pretty powerful point already and now I'm ready to do heroic raids, so I can work towards getting tusks. If you look back at what I wrote, you'll find that I never even said that people "have" to follow the meta in order to achieve certain goals. I simply said that people likely do so in order to achieve their goals more quickly. I didn't say they'd do it successfully either.
For instance, I've upgraded my gear and can farm the raids at my leisure. I no longer have trouble getting into groups, resulting in bigger bronze gains more quickly. Sure, I had to spend a lot of bronze to get all of this power, but now i can solo normal raids if I want. Now I can blitz through dungeons and earn thousands of bronze per hour with ease, if I want.
But, am I following guides for talents? No. Did I do extensive research to figure out optimal paths to gear? Also no. I just played the game and upgraded my character as I saw fit. Now I've finished one of my main goals by buying the Garrosh shoulders.
It's easy, it just took commitment and consistency.

why? they DID put in time and effort, they didnt exploit and it was the most well known farm in MOP that blizzard forgot to fix before launch, this isnt the froggers W its BLIZZARDS L punishing people for farming is wrong, its the same with nerfing all the farms: yeah you CAN do that but wouldnt it be better to BUFF other intended methods to get bronze to be more competitive? wouldnt it be better to BUFF the people that didnt frog farm to be about at 80% of the stats that froggers are?

Not sure why everyone is so worked up over this. This was meant to be a leveling event. There is no endgame and all progress will be wiped in a few months when the event ends.

Not really wiped, you get the character and his gear. If you have the max ilvl gear in remix, you get a max ilvl mythic in retail... In 3 months

I was sick and missed the start. Yesterday was my first login and I got to 26 I think. Doing my research and basically I’m just gonna grab the mounts and key items. There is no way I’m collecting 1.6 million bronze with the current state of the game. Not happening.
Similarly to SoD, people there got screwed for so much gold and xp. Again early worm gets the bird ; exploit early and often……that’s the blizzard way.
Seriously though it’s clearly too small a team stuck dealing with Cata, SoD, Remix, plunder… so this is what we get. Brutal.
As a non-wow player (currently) they should of done what poe does in their leagues. Which is leave it as is when the season is over then patch things: nerf/buff builds, mobs, loot, etc. BUT if they would of tested this they wouldn't be having the problem either.
Back after a 10 year hiatus and can already see nothing's changed with Nerf of Warcraft.
