What a bad ass idea.
That's a pretty nice pack Tac Med!
Consider this for the medical team at institutions such as schools, offices, churches, and synagogues. Any place that is a potential target should consider some form of "throw kit" response bag.

According to the website the contents are:
SOF Tactical tourniquet x1
Control wrap 4 x1
Crinkle gauze x 1
Emergency blanket x1
Bi-lingual instruction card
Casualty marker panel
What i understand it to be is a kit, that only containes the bare minimum, to throw at a casualty in need of.
This could be a civilian, or combatant...
I imagine a scenario like running for cover, RPGs and so, and throwing this to a soldier that can't be moved... Then you can still help!
I wonder if a Velcro flap wouldn't work faster and much more easily than that zipper in the bottom of the kit? Seems easily to pull a flap on the move while wearing gloves than to find and pull on a zipper.

What exactly is a "throw kit" in this context? I'm not familiar with the term.
Kind of a late reply, but it's a trauma kit that you can throw to other people as you're shooting the bad guys
