      When is Ping going to thank every tax payer, (who made a profit), for every tax payer check he gets paid for as a Fireman? He is taking peoples money by using state force, and he never said "Thank you" once. Where does morality stop?

    Here's my story...worked at Cycle Gear back in 2000s, Fresno, Clawsons Motorsports put on a race at Grizzly Stadium and paid Jeremy McGrath to show up and race. He did, super cool dude, but that's a whole nother story. Walked down in the pits, saw Ping, didn't know him, walked up to him and said " Hey ping where's your mechanic? " He was working on his own bike, he said " He is over there trying to pick up on the camera chick". So I asked him if he needed any help, he said yeah, can you walk my bike down to the starting line for me? I said h*** yeah it'd be an honor. So I did all my friends were looking at me like what the heck how'd you do that and then I started the bike twisted the throttle a few times while he adjusted his goggles and then he got on a Pat him on the back and told him you got this, And he thanked me and got the hole shot, Jeremy passed him on the last lap in moto one and he got 2nd. He rode up and handed me the bike,, i pushed it back to the pits and put it on the bike stand and hung out. Super cool guy laid back nice guy.
    He asked me if I would do the same in the next moto and I said yes, that's my Ping story. Roczen has always been my favorite rider, But in this situation I'm behind Ping 100% just thank the dude gezz... Don't be a jerk Roczen, Be a stand up guy and go shake the guy's hand and thank him for the ride. I'm jus say'n Flodaddy!

    Not gonna lie, ping tracked down the BEST suspension made from Showa back in the day going to my dad who had a set of suspension that there’s maybe 8 pairs of left in the world, unattainable parts that my dad didn’t want to sell (because my brother still races two strokes and uses these parts) but ping needed it for Kenny so my dad let it go because it was pingree. Ping is a hardworking good guy who isn’t looking for this attention. Working with these racers is a different world, sometimes I look back n wish I said thank you to those people a bit more but I think in this situation it’s a bit different. I don’t have any negative feelings on either side I just know a small part of what ping did threw us that makes me see a part of his effort he put in which was 1 of 50 things he had to get done to make that bike ken roczen worthy. Take that for what you will.

      I get the feeling that unless Roczen had something against Ping before this, that he really wasn't informed of the totality of the project. I would imagine that Ken just talked with Mitch and Ken would just assume that Ping just dropped off the bike or something. I dunno. Doesn't seem right. Maybe he just thought Mitch did all of the work?

He featured my bike when he was with vital still, which opened up many new doors for me within the industry. And for that I thanked Ping so much that I think he became a little annoyed 😂. • @EarthSurferUSA
      @EarthSurferUSA Год назад

      A response defines character? When you start to understand the premise of what is actually being said,--then you can judge character. Ping is a confused boy who makes decisions based on feelings because he does not have the intellect to have a true character. He does not think well. He regurgitates what he has heard with no idea where it comes from, as long as he feels good about what he is saying. He is a confused child, (as we graduate them today), whose biggest grin comes from genital jokes of Bevis and Butthead. In just about anything he tries to think of, he can be on the right track, and he takes a left turn and jumps off a cliff.
      Ping's brain is a product of every crappy piece of propaganda chanted at us for the last 30 years. His brain is little more than a tape recorder, and unfortunately, he is no where near alone. Mankind in general is losing the ability to figure out reality.

Those givers like yourself, often get nothing in return and in this case, not even a simple “thank you”. I’ve been a Roczen fan for years, but definitely lost respect for him for sure. Ping is a warrior who simply holds people accountable to high standards for moral humans. On the other hand, KR is driven by a social conscience, which is when the ego is in charge and it depends and feeds on external validation. Despite outwardly acting to care for others, a social conscience is totally selfish and also dangerous to be around. I often scratch my head when Kenny Roczen is the subject of a conversation. From him showing up in a suit to sign his rider contract ( so?), I read about that for a week afterwards. He lost straight rhythm to Musquin, I read posts for a week how he would’ve won if it didn’t rain (Musky’s tire spun also ?). Now it’s posts calling his bike a POS, he’d be winning if… Didn’t he turn down his factory contract, post himself test riding every bike (including electric) in the off season, then choose his current ride..? Kens a talented rider there’s no denying that. How he wants to present himself as a person, he could use a little work.

If people care about their little scuff, I would say we are hooked on making judgments with the least bit of knowledge,--and that is a mistake. Here is some wisdom would like to share, passed down to me from several generations before me.: "If we would mind our own business,---we would not have time to mind everybody else's."

He may put on parts at the firehouse to help promote the people who gave him the parts, (which is OK, sans doing it at the firehouse on our dime), but the only bikes he ever owned was bike that people gave to him. I gotta say, I used to love Roczen. Outside of Tomac he may have been my favorite rider on the track. But after all the drama that went down last summer, and him leaving HRC, a team that stood by him through some of the worst situations a rider could go through. And it wasn’t even that he left HRC, if he’d just said, “thanks for everything y’all have done, but I think I’m going to switch to a different team” it’d be fine. But he leaves them, trashes their bike, and disses the crap out of them. Obviously the bike wasn’t that bad, Chase Sexton came within what? 20 minutes of beating Tomac for the outdoor title? Then he tries every bike from a Cobra 50cc to the Suzuki he ended up on. And it just started to feel like he was less testing out different teams, and more trying to be sure the spotlight stayed on him. After everything in the offseason with him, I just lost a ton of respect for the guy.

    Hold it, Ping... Ken has always worked with companies that benefit greatly from his using their products... The culture was, "I go risk my neck, and you all sell boatloads of the products you give." Thus a mindset of You pay me & I benefit you... even steven at the end of the day.
    Here the dynamic was different. This was a personal deal at an event that is nothing more than a little sideshow circus event. I think he just felt that you weren't paying him to ride a bike which was probably the first time in his life this dynamic was present.
    Ping, you expected too much for too little, and Ken, once this was brought to your attention, a sincere thank you is free and classy...
    This is classic "sounds good" stuff; however, no one stopped to make a plan with expectations up front... Verbal agreements are riff with each party hearing what they want to hear when bantering things about.
    In the future, Ping, sit down and meticulously count the costs, assign duties and responsibilities, and be sure expectations are clearly documented and aligned... then say yes or no.
    I say this with great empathy for Ken, for this reminded me that the last season I raced for a sponsor was on a 79 YZ 250... I never stopped to thank the owner when I turned his bike in at the end of the season... Could be YZ 250s cause blindspots of reconsideration? Woo, that sounds stupid... I too was too focused on the love of my life... me.
