What started as a small group of people goofing around with the little touge mod content that existed at the time, lead to a discord server with 40000+ members, and facilitated the creation/conversion of dozens of touge courses, JDM cars (including 'touge-spec' modified versions of existing vehicles) teams, and even a touge racing 'cat and mouse' league called Battle Stage with multiple seasons of 15-20+ races events per season, with an average of 40+ participants per 'Battle Stage' event. All it takes is a few people with some initiative, and as soon as there's something there that people want to participate in, more will come.

Now there are even more touge maps. Ngl I prefer BeamNG more to AC when it comes to touge driving. It simulates gutter run, irohazaka jump, inner wheel lift a lot more consistently. I had a moment in AC where the car just go crazy when trying to pull off such stunts.
I can relate heavily with 7:19, some of my best memories in this game are drifting around with random people in beammp and just never resetting. drifting an absolutely hammered car is something you can experience anywhere else!
games that have stuff that make you scared of crashing and damaging the car (ex: if you crash you gotta pay for the damage and if you crash it actually does damage that can stop the car) always feel more realistic to me

@@aryawyk.7874 its impossible to use wall riding to your advantage in BeamNG. It normally will snap your steering or at least ruin the alignment. Its just a bug common to modded maps, especially the ported ones
you should see if you can get yourself a fanatec DD wheel, a cheap direct drive, you got pedals and a shifter already, so just the servo base you should need.
I love BeamNG so much, I love doing time trials along road courses in road cars... Get a great feel of how different cars are on the limit of grip hurtling along a bumpy country road 😅🙌🏻

I think Beam should become the official esports racing sim (when it's ready in terms of physics etc). It's would ensure actual safe racing. No one can drive like a...you'd just be shooting yourself in the foot.

Can you feel the chassis flexing around you as you drive? You don't get that in any other game, people think the physics sim is just for crashes, but no it makes the cars feel so much more weighty and real. Yes that does mean they don't feel as sharp, but that's a concession that an arcade game makes for accessibility, really undermines my interest in AC.

the manual transmission is default set to arcade ish style so make sure to watch tutorial videos to get the best experience. I actually learned how to drive and with manual just by beamng drive.

I've actually bought the game a couple of days ago but got very disappointed when i tried it because the ffb was reeeeeeally bad compared to Assetto Corsa. Anybody knows a way to make it properly good? (Yes, I've tried adjusting the ingame ffb settings but it still is very difficult to drive in a straight line at high speed or close a simple drift)
You need to tune the cars if your using the default vehicles they are not tune correctly for a wheel and are uncontrollable. You also can put in response correction curve that helped me a lot with my wheel. I don't know what wheel you have so I can't recommend any settings for you sorry.
Wierd that you are getting bad framrates. You should be able to get atleast 60 fps on ultra even while recording. I have a bit worse specs than you and get no issues at all.
I wouldn’t call BeamNG a racing sim, it’s more of a car sim that you can also race in, the subject of the game is the car, not what you’re doing with it.
Dam bro akina is the only touge map I play with the ae86 lol until I can match takumi and bunta skill all I play is akina lol but dam I'm still 30 secs behind the record but I need a better sim setup. For normal racing the tmx is fine but for touge I can't replicate it to feel like life. I can actually drive harder and faster IRL than on sim
I LOVE Beam NG but the only reason i don't play t more is EXACTLY what happened to you while i am playing my Force feedback will randomly die, and i don't think it is a problem with Fanatec, i have a Thrustmaster T500 rs and it is TOTALLY SOLID! It NEVER has the force feedback cut out or has the centering mis-align in ANY or driving sim but it randomly happens in Beam NG and it is SOOOOOOO ANNOYING
the reason beamng can't get licensed cars is the crash, let's face it, no one like their car crashed, even need for speed have to paid a lot of money for licensing, so we can put the most outrageous bodykit in their game, the same goes for forza horizon. BeamNG didn't have that amount of money

The rail guard and the trees in mt. Akina map mod is a bit sticky. So if u touch it, even a bit. It will pull your car
