Try turning your torch on your phone on and put the bottle on top of the torch. It should show you how much product is left. Sounds mad but it actually works 😀x
I use the following trick with opac serum/cream bottles. I weigh them on a mini scale before I start using them, so anytime I want to check how much of it I've used I weigh it again. I know that grams are not the same as ml or ounces but it gives me a hint for when it's time to reorder.

I plucked up the courage to buy a Ziip Halo - and waited for over a month - it never arrived. Terrible company. (doubtless you'll delete this comment but heh, I tried to warn the listeners)

I had the opposite experience. My Halo became faulty after 7 months and they immediately sent a replacement! Love my halo
@@PamperedWolf Thanks Gemma. I eventually got a refund. It's obviously not a 'common' occurrence with them but when I reviewed the company it was interesting to note that there have been others who had a similar experience. Needless to say, it's put me off them altogether.

I used to hate the Natasha Denona concealer, but since you did your video about using it far more sparingly and just applying more on darker areas I really do like it now
The Patrick tar is very nice because of those light colours,I think this is a reason that I like to buy individual good eyeshadow,I hate wasting the other colours & it’s easier on the pennies too 🌸

I like the ZIIP and don’t have a negative word to say about it. It’s the easiest one to use I’ve tried which means I’m very consistent. I wish, however, that I were in the club that sees discernible lifting. For me so far the most benefit is the nano current and breakout management.

@@PamperedWolf Not significantly?? I’m starting to get the downturned mouth and marionettes and I was hoping it would help with that but I don’t see it. It’s like vitamin C. Everyone sees the brightening. I’m over her going, “WHERE? Show me!” 😂🥴 Maybe it’s that I have less to “fix” than I actually think, therefore the results aren’t as dramatic as I want them to be? Idk..
I see Medik8 does an eyelift treatment. I wonder if anyone has reviewed it?
I love City Beauty lip plumper - although it doesn't plump my lips, it is thick and lasts and lasts and is the only thing that works to keep my lips hydrated through any kind of weather. Have you tried it? Is there a more affordable dupe out there - anything even close? Would love to hear your opinion!💄💋
I am also liking the Maybelline super lock brow glue. I find, for me that I need to let it dry down to be able to use the Nyx micro brow, pencil. Once I figured that out then I have much better brows. I have combination skin that is mostly oily. Somehow I got a dry patch around my mouth and thought of when you talked about having dry patches due to retinol. Not sure how it happened. What I did to fix it was put 100% pure petroleum jelly on it over a couple of weeks and it did clear it up. Thank you for all of your content! I am your mom‘s age so love it when she is on. My budget affords The Ordinary , which over a period of years has really improved my skin tremendously. Thank you for promoting it years ago. I am very faithful in the use of those products.

I wanted to thank you...after you mentioned Rephr29 brush so many times I've decided to order one. Used it once and...ordered another one straight away to have a spere! I am 45 and although used many products, tools, techniques etc. never had a perfect wing on my eyes, until now 😊

For me, red light wins but if someone asked me to give up either my red light or my Ziip I think I’d fight til the bitter end to keep them both x

With the Ziip, do you experience any unpleasant or mild electric shocks? I have the Foreo Bear and have been using it for a few years with its recommended serum (and do love it), but can't use it at the higher settings because of the mild electric shocks I would experience. For that reason, I'm hesitant to buy another microcurrent device such as the Ziip, but am tempted as it seems like everyone loves it. Thanks!
Nothing major. I didn’t apply enough gel one day and experienced some tingling but that’s all x

I really have a huuuuge problem with blushes 🙈🙈🙈 I have so many. just bought 2 korean ones I love (cream to powder formular) and I got the L'Oréal ones (not sure if I like these yet). my ride or die is the house labs powder. it's sooooooo soft and stays all day. I love all of them and ise them all but I really should stop buying more 🙈🙈🙈🙈

Hi Gemma I’m in Spain, all I am seeing in ads at the moment is the Meroda changing foundation, it has no pigment so there is no colour choice to make, no mistakes. It seems quite reasonably priced, have you tried it..

Hey Gemma, another fantastic video. Regarding the ziip halo thingie, I have a nuface mini which I like as I do not have to buy their gel, with the ziip halo am I obligated to buy their gel or do other cheaper ones work?
Also if you like citrus smells have you tried Byredo - Bal d'Afrique. It is expensive so maybe a christmas list one.

Does you link to all recommended products/"shelf" get updated with your new top products by removing the old ones knocked off the top spot or do you just add to it? The products on that platform aren't each dated as to when you added them and so I sometimes find it confusing as to what is the current best of the best according to your extensive knowledge 😊
It doesn’t get updated very regularly due to time constraints. The favourites section gets updated probably once or twice a year x

I tried the City Beauty Lid Lift. My sensitive eyes did not like it. Plus, I felt that it was too thick which, even with tapping, caused unwanted tugging/pulling on the lids. 😔 Very disappointed.

Hi Gemma, can I ask if you have your brows laminated? Gels won't do a thing in my brows and I am wondering if I need them laminated to make them maliable. My brows are in such a bad state I am a bit scared to even go to a place in case they laugh at me 🫤

I bought the byoma cleansing balm because u raved about it a few weeks ago but now u say u use the elemis cleansing balm 🤔 so confusing
I test out products for a living so I’m able to recommend the good ones to you all. The byoma is my favourite affordable cleansing balm without a doubt. I’ve recently ran out of my Elemis balm, and even though I have other high end balms I could use, I’m using the byoma x

The ND concealer made my under eyes look like the Sahara desert…..I wanted it to work, but it just didn’t.

I wish you still had affordable products. Years ago you got me to try TO matrixl & niacinamide & love it. You never did paid promotion. I miss the old videos.
50% of my videos are still affordable Patti. I have an equal split of subscribers who tune in for affordable vs high end content so I make sure my channel reflects that. I am sorry that not every video suits your needs, but it’s difficult to please everyone all of the time. I only accept paid promotions from brands I adore and believe in which I hope shines through. Surely you don’t begrudge me getting paid for all the work I put in to the free of charge videos you watch?
She still does affordable videos and also she needs to earn a living and this is her job, so of course she will do the odd paid video. Shame she hasn't got your support on that, considering all the free advice, discount codes and entertainment you have received from her over the years.🙄
Considering all the free advice Gemma gives I think it is fair that she agrees to some paid promotion, plus Gemma only accepts promotions for products she has tried and LOVES. AND she ALWAYS starts her videos acknowledging the paid promotion - unlike some other influencers!!! The girl gotta make a living!!!! Whatever about the high-cost products, I think there is also a good quantity of affordable brand reviews - especially in her 'Better than High End' videos. I cannot afford a lot of the more expensive brands but I still like to hear about them so I can try and find 'dupes' - especially with perfumes .. there is no way (even if I had the money) I could justify spending 300 euro on a fragrance but there are some great 'smells like' perfume sites that I go to!!! xxxx

Do you work without pay at your job? Gemma is upfront about which products are promo and which she purchases with her own money. Personally I appreciate both approaches as it expands the range of her reviews. I have never been steered wrong by Gemma - which is something I can't say for some other tubers....
I'm sorry "you can feel the nourishment happening whilst you're cleansing your skin"?? For a product that's on your skin 20 seconds and gets washed off? How does that feel?? A lot of hyperbole through this video. I love the energy but perhaps bordering on sales pitch at times.
You don't get what she means. She is saying that when you use it, your skin feels like you have used more than just a cleanser and that it doesn't strip your skin 🙄
