here ... Krishnamurtiji was the light and you brother were the guide. I still can't digest the fact that how someone can use familiar words to describe a not so familiar beautiful thought in a very raw manner. So in what level does the fully conscious divine be speaking!!

Im watiching this again... Roger you are great. First time you are reacting to J Krishnamurti & you are grasping what he is saying.. but honestly speaking i was like sabine.. same expression.. It took many videos for me to understand him...
Now you may be thinking why am i watching again.. becoz when we watch same thing again & again then we will notice many things which we have skipped earlier.(Becoz we were not matured enough at that time)
    Thank You once again.

Jiddu Krishnamurthy is a very very critical to the point of being Truth Seeker and Speaker without telling or adding some fancy dancy Stories / tales around it , which oftenly goes above average minded people heads
Krishnamurthy is like - Simple Plain Brutal Truth (take it leave it it's up to you )
Even Osho had so much respect and admiration for J Krishnamurthy

I think JK points out that we as human beings, tend to believe in an ideology/philosophy or just a mere thought, and by doing so we're shrinking the size of our very minds, so that it is easier to get hold of it now. The result is you get satisfaction.

Those who are discontent with every thing in this world and those who are passionate about every thing in this world both are climbing the same mountain . But 99.9% of us are neither because our discontent or passion is only to the point of convenience.

Correction: JK started by saying that it is good that he is antogonistic in the beginning, but once he went through the process of releasing the fire from reactionary, antogonistic frustration mind, he dumped that antogonistic in the end as bad thing(not good anymore).

Thank You Sabina & Roger for reacting to Jiddu Krishnamurti🙏
When i started to listen to J Krishnamurti i was lost completely... when i started digging more deeper and deeper i started disbelieving everything around me.. Honestly speaking even the ancient stories😑😶
I thought i will become nastika(an Atheist).. But im a spiritual seeker..and there is no end for search..
But u know... Jiddu Krishnamurti showed me a completely different path....
Becoz of J Krishnamurti i understood what sadhguru was saying...
If we dig deeper..deeper...deeper.... somewhere the Ancient Wisdom and Jiddu Krishnamurti's teaching meet...(im not comparing).. Im saying that he will show a different path...so that we will not identified with anything...(we will not hold on to anything but still searching)...
So sadhguru explains Ancient Wisdom in much simpler way... Jiddu Krishnamurti says dont read any books(including books about speaker) or believe anythng.. the content of your conciousness is itself a book...(read , observe yourself)..
    J. Krishnamurti - Amsterdam 1981 - Public Talk 1 - Thought and time are the root of fear
This one video has changed the way of my thinking....
Some other videos in my playlist...(my fav)

Hi brijesh i also had the same thought after reading and understanding j krishnamurti buy after finding two channels called Deep knowledge and Acharya Prashant many of my doubts resolved they are way better the sadguru you should check those channels out, if you're real seeker you should start reading Zen yoga by PJ saher . It's very rare boook which contains mathematical formulas and equations about the step by step progress on spiritual path and practices you can do its very rare science.

I think, it's probably a mistake to equate what Krishnamurti says with other spiritual traditions. It's a common mistake I think people generally make, to compare his teachings with other Hindu/vedic traditions, advaita and such and think they are the same. There are some important fundamental differences imo. Krishnamurti also warns of this. He's also stated countless times his works aren't intellectual excercise or dissection. If you haven't read or studied him in detail you may be left with the impression that it is very intellectual. But if you understand him, you may find it to be very not intellectual. He's said this himself, and it's also been my experience. It's more real than intellectual.

That COMPLETE discontent with antagonism and the flame led Siddhartha to sit and meditate until the TRUTH is revealed. The outcome, Buddha was born.
That burning desire and tenacity with its complete urgency will lead to a totally different realization. That calamity is the source.

One of the 4 paths to reach the ultimate. The other 3 being path of Bhakti (devotion), Karma(Action), Energy.

It is those of great importance, at least the ones who take themselves as such, which are the ones who most beautifully can explain how they seem to be discontented with how this life plays out to be. And they for sure have all the answers and ideas, and if it was up to them they would scorch this earth clean of all of its discontentment and start clean over again with their own drawing board and their own interpreted symphony of perfection. That is what J is talking about.
The other guy with the other fire, is no different. Two directions that does nothing but harm. One says everything is ok, one says it isn't. And if we do not understand that, then that is why we are experiencing it that way.

Sir, I think you got the opposite of what he is saying in the end(I may be wrong).
In the end He said that as long you are with your "pure discontent" without developing any reaction towards it..you and me are same..but People dont do it they damp down that "pure discontent" with feeling of antagonism(They want to get rid of the feeling of discontent by developing hateful emotions towards others)..as soon as you become antagonistic you move away from the "pure discontent" and this causes the difference between you and speaker.
if you stay with that "pure discontent" or "pure longing" without developing any reaction towards it..then that "longing" will guide you to your true self.

The way how I understood is, he started with saying that "discontent with something" or "discontent in itself (innate)". If disconnect with something, then there is a course that is easily attainable, and by doing so we are satisfied, at the same time narrowing the mind.
Discontent with everything (immovable) and not trying to get anything from the speaker or any sort of certainty. Then this flame is same as Speaker's. Fire is Fire.
Discontent with everything but antagonist against the speaker (not immovable) then this flame (Questioner) is not the same as Speaker's. Fire is dampened.

What he means to say that perhaps that when you are angry or hateful towards anything you are no longer neutral you are no longer indifferent to that thing which you hate, when you show hatred and anger towards anything you are taking a position vis-a-vis that thing ..... what he means to say perhaps that being indifferent to a particular thing is far worse than being reactionary to a particular thing even if that reaction may be negative ..... so even when you show negative reaction you show charge you no longer stay neutral ..... when you start to be positive or negative about anything you start to feed something to something ..... the fact also is that many things die because of indifference or because of lack of attention.....
Because I believe love and hated both are capable of spurring growth in something .

Sadhguru wanted to become a Guru, he wanted fame, that's why he forcibly became an Enlightened One by doing Sadhana, whereas Krishnamurti had no such desire, he neither wanted to be Enlightened nor wanted fame, in fact even when Theosophical Society tried to make him one, he rejected the title of Jagatguru(world teacher),
In short he was a naturally Enlightened One, that is why Sadhguru's words reflect logic and cleverness whereas Krishnamurti's words reflect deep insight. 💞🙏🏻

  • @sadayarkoil

JK here says about two, one totally discontent and the other exactly the opposite. Do you really agree that two such entities exist at all...no way. In Cosmic terms we are just new-born babies and a lot less a microscopic speck. The Cosmos exists for the individual only as long as the individual entity lives; once dead, nothing exists. JK makes a lot of statements or explanations but he does not show any way ahead since such is the nature of the Cosmic entity. Perhaps!! Kenopanishad says, it does not know !!! The human tools of perception are highly limited....we can't even look at our own back. All our knowledge is based on memory and nothing springs afresh. We do not have the medium of communication...at all. I am not at all pessimistic. I know there is way...someone shall arrive....Good Luck.

At 36:55 you're wrong there, he says at 30:30 the antagonism dampens the flame, it doesn't fuel it. The moment you are antagonistic, you have moved away from him. The two flames are only the same when they meet without antagonism (as he says).

  • @sirquickly4749
    @sirquickly4749 11 месяцев назад

As far as I understand, Krishnamurti, is that Krishnamurti doesn't favor contentment over discontentment. The questioners state, in the video, is smothered through his antagonism, he is not any more totally with discontent. Therefore, he is not that flame anymore. I think Roger is wrong when he says antagonism and aggression are on a higher level, and K is endorsing that. I think K would quite be happy to meet this totally discontent person because then two flames would meet. Two immovable beings meet then.
When I understood it correctly, then it would be two beings, without cause. Because the questioners discontent has neither a cause because he is discontent with everything. And there is no end to things without a cause. That would be my explanation of that video. I am seeing it, probably the fourth or fifth time and still not really sure.
