Great video. Bought my Shark at Costco this weekend and really liked it. But your video was so thorough that I was able to get the most out of the vacuum….with the detached canister I was able to walk around my house and clean under furniture, along baseboards and between the stove and counters. Thank you for your in-depth review.
I bought one of these a while ago. I was about ready to take it back until i saw you detach the motor section and use the metal tube as an extension. Really is a great buy. And don't forget, costco has an amazing take it back period. I've had to use it a few times.
Thank you for such a helpful, delightful video! I just got this vacuum and had 2 qs: 1) Does it matter if you press carpet or hardwood for the liftaway mode? and 2) do you ever clean the front HEPA filter? THANK YOU!
@@AP-fm2bf I will shake out the hepa filter every few months. I was and completely sun dry the main sponge filter once a month. Thank you for the comments and for watching. Enjoy the vacuum!
@AP-fm2bf No. It does not matter as the bristles will stop spinning when the unit is lifter off the roller base. Thank you for watching and for your comments.
The vacuum works great when it works, but if the bearing or belt goes bad, the whole vacuum is toast. They do not make it serviceable as they use specialty screws, they do not sell belts, and the bearings are pretty much designed to go bad. So $200 for a vacuum that lasts approximately 2 years.
@zacharyewoldt8988 I have had ours for a while now. And use it several times a week on carpet, hardwood, and carpeted stairs. I have not noticed any belt or bearing issues as of yet. Thank you for watching and for your comments.
So. You’ve had it for awhile. Any issues and would you recommend it? Please let me know if you have the time. Saw it at Costco today and found your video. Thank you.
I agree with the one comment that says it's hard to vacuum under a bed. However, that is what we use the wand for. I don't know of many other vacuums that you could fit underneath a bed. For instance, our last Dyson would not fit under the bed either. We've had this vacuum for almost 2 years now, and I would still recommend it. I would go out and buy it again. enjoy.
@@andrewthecoolerguy9052 Hi, appreciate your video. You are the only reason I bought that vacuum. Lift away - the vacuum I had before that lasted me 5 years, I was able to remove the basket/plastic container=lift away And I was able vacuum under the bed with the roller and light on. It was very convenient and easy.
I have uploaded a follow-up video to hopefully answer your question. Thanks for watching and commenting. You can find the video by clicking the link below. ruclips.net/video/n4yKETnPoEw/видео.htmlsi=sjtpmWpaVSc58d_b
It does not turn the roller brush off it slows it down considerably to ack more like a powered broom. Thank for your communication and thanks for watching
If you are talking about the rotating cleaning brush, you can just put it on hard floor setting and it will not rotate as much or as fast. If you're talking about the pivoting swivel head. There is no adjustment to make that harder to turn. I hope this helps.
The self-cleaning brush. Just works. I believe it is based on how the brush is designed. I noticed the rotating brush on my shark Navigator and the rotating brush on my Romba look similar. An the Romba also states that it is hair free/ self cleaning.
WOW, I just found this product. WAY CHEAPER!! click my affiliate link below for a huge instant discount compared to the price I stated in the video!!! Please enjoy!!
I hate this vacuum cleaner! It's the worst one I have ever used and I'm 65 years old and used to clean houses for a living. It is sooo heavy. I'm an old lady and it about pulls my shoulder out of the socket every time I use it. Many times, when it bumps up against furniture it falls apart because of the modular design. My 37-year-old daughter used it when she was visiting, and she hated it too for the same reasons. I tried to return it Costco, but they will not take it back unless you have ALL the attachments. I have found 2 attachments, but they said there are 3. I'm going to use this video to prove that it only came with 2 attachments.

Actual dirt and grass. I am so glad my videos are so helpful. That is truly my goal.

You can’t vacuum under the bed 🛌 using the roller with lights. Because the plastic basket is very big.

I am so glad you like your Shark vacuum. 7 months and are is still performing GREAT!! Thank you for watching and commenting!!
I think the hardwood floor setting turns the rollerbrush off.

Sharks don’t deep clean very well it might look like it , but it’s just mostly carpet fibers and they will leave grit In your carpet.
Is there a way to “lift away” and vacuum under the bed? Using the engine with the roller.
No, unfortunately not. I just use the wand with the wide attachment. Thank you for watching.
Can you stop the vacuum from rotating. I got mine yesterday and it hurts my back very badly is there a knob to stop it ? Any advice? Thank you

Thank you Andrew. Lesson learned!@@andrewthecoolerguy9052
Was that actual dirt, or just carpet fibers?
Actual dirt and grass from our puppy
Can you review how self-cleaning works for this series?
The self-cleaning brush. Just works. I believe it is based on how the brush is designed. I noticed the rotating brush on my shark Navigator and the rotating brush on my Romba look similar. An the Romba also states that it is hair free/ self cleaning.
Costco has them on sale for $160

When I adjusted the knob off of maximum suction it was much easier to handle
