I absolutely love the moment when the camera pan around this tiny little guy sitting right on top of the SSD and you can see just dozens of Turbolaser bolts slamming into it but nothing is happening. Weird balance things like that are just priceless.

You can tell it was an NPC battle, because the SSD escort fleet didn't go after either the railgun destroyers, or the ranged missile cruiser. SSD's are great for hammer and anvil tactics, but they'll fall to bombers and artillery missiles all too easily.

The fact that the Empire has to prove themselves by facing a fleet of underworld criminals... yeah, Imps just are that pathetic... but still, Awesome job, man!

The SSD in this video is the Annihilator, as the title says. The Assertor is SIGNIFICANTLY larger.

It's an NPC Battle made in a modified map, it has nothing to do with pop cap
