I have some thoughts about the Victory Class Star Destroyers and to why the Mark 2 version replaced the Mark 1, The Mark 1 Victory was a missile destroyer built for short duration alpha strike missions where massive firepower was needed. Using missiles instead of Turbolasers as the main armament proved to be a logistical nightmare keeping the Victory armed for combat in the ever changing conditions of the Clone Wars. The ammunition dependency meant the class could not stay fully effective over protracted battles and its effectiveness would severely drop off when its munitions were depleted. The class also suffered from slow underpowered sublight drives which limited the ships agility. The Mark 2 version dispensed with the Concussion Missile cells in exchange for more Turbolasers and Ion Cannons whilst improving upon the shielding and engines. Though the Mark 2 could not match the Mark 1's full damage potential it offer a more flexible and logistically friendly platform for the GAR to use. Removing the Missiles and the Launchers would also free up invaluable internal space that was previously used as magazines allowing more troops, or more fighters, cargo etc etc etc. The Mark 1 still had a role for Planetary defence where missile supplies would be readily available and of course for specific missions where they might be needed like to hammer a heavy Rebel Capital ship or like in the Clone Wars to fight Bulwark Battleships. The Victory 1 Star Destroyers opposite number in the CIS fleet would be the Providence Class as they are quite similar in function and role

I thought those clones were programmed with tactical skills. Running headlong into concentrated blaster fire doesn't seem very tactical to me.

I call Shenanigans. The Nebula has some strong-ass shields for a 'Pocket Star Destroyer'... Even being more advanced than the obsolete ISD-I I would have expected it to have taken SOME damage before killing the much bigger battleship...

I could make a Star Trek-style Star Wars story set during the New Republic era with the Nebula-class Star Destroyer going on various missions throughout the Galaxy... And at one point having a battle with an Imperial-class Star Destroyer like THE ONE In the video ☝️ That would be SO COOL...
