Hey thanks for the addy. Been looking to return to slope soaring and I heard the slope I used to go to has been fenced off by LA county. Question, are you still in the city of commerce or Vernon I visited you several years ago to pick up an item I purchased from you for my Duc?
If you flew on Aug 29th 2023 this would be a Tuesday. I was wondering why none of the local flyers were not present. Bluff Cove is only flyable on Sat and Sun and local PD will site you for flying on any other day. It will also be reported and could potentially get us shutdown. We welcome any sloper to fly with us here but please do not fly on any other day but the weekend! I have many flying videos of flying at Bluff Cove, Point Fermin and other Power flying sites listed on RUclips under mohr41 or morrimohr
Nah fly when you want, let them write citations and tickets and all that, waste their time ticketing people doing a harmless activity instead of dealing with the literal raving lunatics in the street or heck, bad drivers. I am so tired of you people shrinking in terror at the oppressive authorities, it's a toy glider, fuk the police. Stop trying to control everyone. No reason you can't fly here on the weekdays and the weekends.
@@JustGoAndFly This has to be one of the most moronic posts I've ever seen! Didn't say I was the authority but our local group has attended several city counsel meetings to reinstate this site for weekends only. So perhaps you are a short-timer and haven't witnessed the slope closures that have occurred up and down the California coast. As stated in my original post all are welcome - just don't fly on weekdays!
@@morrimohr5759 nope, you're not the authority, and you don't welcome anyone, you don't own the slope. This hobby is dead partially because of fear mongering, submissive rule-lovers like yourself, who, if all the slopes were "shut down" would simply stay at home with their thumb up their butt. Slope Soaring is not a crime and it's not a crime 7 days a week, and any attempt to police such an action is an abuse of power that will not be respected. With your attitude and warped view of the world it won't be long until you once again lose your "privileges" to fly on the weekends, all because Karen at the city council lacks common sense and you people have no backbone.
@@morrimohr5759 any cop who wants to stop me flying a toy glider is getting their stupid piggy face plastered all over the internet as a Karen, the extraordinary fun-police doing their job while the country burns around them. Yeah-hah-hah stop the toy glider flyers, real criminals!
Nice place, thanks for sharing.
It's been years since I flew there
That was an awesome video. Talking shit is all part of the fun.

Nope. You're not the authority. If slopes get "shut down" based on arbitrary rules, fly anyway, take a ticket and FTP
