Why I get the feeling that most of this game's budget went to get Vin Diesel and Michelle Rodriguez aboard, so they really had to cut corners in the actual game development.
And they're not in it that much.
I doubt it. My guess is Vin and Michelle had a bogus contract reason and the devs just really couldn't be bothered putting in effort
Slightly Mad Studios is well-known for shift and their racing sim title called Project Cars. They don't have any experience on this type of game. The Director is the same guy who also directing Project Cars 1.

It's the fact that CDPR made The Witcher games which were fantastic and the games themselves felt complete with no bullshit attached etc. So basically since The Witcher was so damn good, then fans should be excited about Cyberpunk too. Similarly they made a lot of reduction in features along game production, one of which even included removing 3rd person gameplay. And dont even get me started on the AI. Even this fast and furious game has better AI. Even GTA 1 had police chase you in their cars lol
