Can we all take a second and appreciate the graphics this game had back in 2015 it still holds up to today's games. Rocksteady was always great with their graphics I can't wait to see how good the suicide squad game is gonna look.
2009's Batman Arkham Asylum was considered ahead of its time. A pure revolution to superhero videogames.
Since they don't go with cartonish graphics they can be better. Some games like Spider Man rather a cartonish, less shiny game and they all look way less realistic and less good than Arkham Knight. In my opinion, those games should have realistic and flashy graphics
Games these days are hot mess to promote RTX bullshit while actually being sad pathetic waste. Look at Watch Dogs Legion, NFS Heat, Dirt 5, AC Odyssey all look horseshit. Up until 2016 or so community was not filled with cheesy creeps screaming away in Fortnite, PUBG and same. So devs still cared.

This just proves Joker was still the main villain of this game. So many times Batman could have beat scarecrow but Joker always stopped that.
But Batman still has his "morals" he doesn't kill people, even the most horrible people. Like Joker, he's putting more blood on his hands letting gotham's biggest criminals alive

It goes both ways. Yeah the Joker keeps him from beating scarecrow, but scarecrows fear toxins prevent Batman from overcoming the Joker within.

@@noahmaczuga7404 Is it just me or is the TDK suit slightly less darker? Also Christian Bale's batman was more lean and athletic than buffed up muscular so that's also a factor.
Wonder if scarecrow noticed that Batman was looking at nothing, technically. Like when he looked at joker.
I find it hard to believe that Scarecrow never noticed Bats' green joker eyes in this scene. Seriously, Joker was one of the most infamous and dangerous criminals, there is no way that Scarecrow never once noticed that Joker had green eyes or that Batman who always had blue eyes had suddenly got his irises turned green mid encounter.

Green eyes are not exclusive to the Joker. Poison Ivy for example had those exact same green eyes in the previous game. Same as Titan fueled Bane. And Titans in general.
Besides, Joker's dead. Why would he assume that he has something to do with Batman's changed demeanor?
It's one of the only times Batman actually looks at Joker and acknowledges he sees him in the room.
You can hear Batman's exhaustion when he says "You're trapped" at 1:00. Even though he doesn't show it, all of those hallucinations are eating away at him.
Right, he doesn’t sound intimidating at all right there. He sounds so vulnerable.
Observing scenes like this I just will never understand people claiming Conroy’s voice acting was bad in this game.

I'm fairly sure that looking at joker was the only time he ever acknowledged him in the entire game with exception to the end dream sequence thing. Other than that, he seems to totally ignore him. So that quick look is interesting
aside from that moment, the player chooses how much attention they want to give joker, the player chooses when batman will acknowledge his fears, your fears. Its an amazing way to mould storytelling with player interaction. Something this game excels at. And that's why I love it

I always sit through his dialogue. He usually has 3 things to say then disappears. But if you di that, stuff starts looping by midgame. Still, that's a lot of fresh dialogue.
Scarecrow still has the best design in this game series for villains. When you can’t tell which part is skin or mask, you’ve done your job as a game developer

I beat all these games a couple of years ago and I still watch these videos. There is something just so special about these games that just keeps me coming back to them

This game still has some of the best graphics in a game even to this day, at least in my opinion. Some scenes are downright GORGEOUS to look at

People hated it because of the "overuse" of the Batmobile and the awful PC port at launch..
But they overlooked the fact that this was a mindblowing and extremely wel made, fun to play game..
And don't get me started about the graphics which after almost 6 years still put most newer games to shame..
DON'T skip this (and the entire franchise for that matter)
I'm not sure why but on new game plus I enjoyed the game much more than my first playthrough but having 3 boss battles with the batmobile wasn't necessary

The story its enjoyable I can play it it's just the overused batmobile that takes you away from all of it the fights are just not enjoyable the riddler missions are not riddles there races the deathstroke battle is just complete bullshit and not fun there is barely and fight scenes it's just not fun when your in the batmobile

Something that I thought was on point in this game was how Batman knows Joker so well that, despite being a hallucination, Joker's jokes were genuinely dark and funny. Sometimes I forgot that it wasn't really him.
I mean it's both him and not him. It's complicated blood based ghost bodyhopping shit. The old dude posessed by Joker probably wouldnt have killed himself if it was just a disease making people think they were the joker.
I mean, batman didn't know about the sections where Joker tells his storys about Jason Todd right? So this is still joker just inside of batmans brain
@@radiationstandard judging by Joker's use of a camera on those scenes as well as Batman confirming that he saw the tapes Joker sent him, I'd say he watched videos of the incident.
Edit: Of course, creating another question, how did Joker even send the tapes to Batman?

@@Batman-ro9mj actually no if u paid attention...that was fallen Batman....but it was implemented in the whole movie that he has changed and wasn't always like this....but there was subtle hint of batman's redemption and rebirth at the end of bvs UE and would've continued though the Jl trilogy and his solo

This was almost like they've had this conversation a million times. Smh. People really didn't pay attention when watching this movie. A lot of lines said around or to bruce hinted that he wasn't always like this or that there still light at the end of the tunnel.

I think this is the first time Batman actually looks at Joker in a cutscene and acknowledges his presence. Kinda a way to show how illusions are slowly sneaking into the reality and Batman is starting to slowly lose control
I love the the bvs suit, also the new 52 one and the dark knight returns are so good in this game
Yessss BvS and New 52 were amazing. I also really liked the Batman Beyond and Arkham Origins skins as well

People wanna complain that it always comes back to the Joker but let’s face it.... people would complain worse if the Joker arch from City was completely ignored. Like the impact that Jokers death had no Bruce was so severe, it was definitely going to play a pivotal part of the next game.

Yup, it was dlc from the BvS movie. Also came with the bat mobile from the film, but you could only drive it around, not shoot with it. :(

I literally beat Arkham Knight for the second time two days ago and RUclips recommended this video for me.

I mean to be fair, Batman has resisted it before.
He said he changed because joker had taken over Bruce in this scene for a split second. That's why the horror sequence close to the end of the game plays from jokers perspective cause joker defeated Bruce and then the batman persona took over completely after locking up joker. Bruce was gone joker was defeated all that was left was the batman.
They graphics still amaze me to this day

This is my favorite game ever. The perfect time to a game, very good side quests, incredible voice acting, super cool tech, well written dialogue and story, man this game is just perfect.

there can never be a better game of batman than this game, it had everything, every possible villain of batman, cutscenes of another level, batmobile fight, intense scenes, hard missions, super immersive,addictive storyline

He doesn't acknowledge Joker because it would speed up his descent into madness. The Joker isn't really there after all. Bruce is probably of the mind that if he ignores the hallucinations and keeps it together for a few more hours, he may be able save Gotham one last time.

This game is a masterpiece. I played Asylum, City, Origins but I was tempted because of people saying how big of a gameplay Batmobile takes. Bullshit! It was amazing. I fucking loved it. One of the greatest games I have ever played.
