Hi, this is my first time using soldering iron. do I need the (hot air station)? can i use JUST the soldering iron instead of gun iron? if yes, how can I use soldering iron because it is my first time, so do i need to let the iron touch the surface or on the air to melt the Rosin Paste, and for how long? do i need to let the soldering iron heat for how long before using it?

Yes, It may work.. But flux will be better for reflow.

My S7E died this Monday, was perfectly fine at night, black screen in the morning with blue led light steady on. Gave it to service center, they returned with led light also off. Said main board has to be changed for 18.5K. Can you try and repair this please?

Why do You reflow led display ic. Does not affect charging or battery 🤨
Looks like those chips have a dry solder problem. Best to reflow them all and save potential faults down the line.

Hi i subscribe on you can i ask what to do if my edge7 shorted and did not open after charged because turns overheated.dead phone only heat everytime i put on the charger. I already bought battery but logic board so expensive i cant afford😪
Thanks for subscribing. Check NPC ( non polar capacitors) by multimeter disconnecting battery from logic board. Keep Red probe on ground & black probe on NPC. If both sides gives beep sound (indicates shorted to ground) just remove it. You may replace with new NPC. If you don't get any shorted components, you need a adjustable Power supply. Set voltage of power supply at 4.2 V & ampere between 2 to 5 A. Connect probes of Power supply at battery connector. Check any current consumption. If there is any current consumption shown in Power supply, there must be a shorted component or IC. You can observe the shorted component (which obviously heating) by touching the board or putting some alcohol. Remove and replace the shorted component. Ur problem will be solved 😊

Sir why is s7edge is shown incorrect battery percentage while charging or after some time shows wrong battery percentage, also after 58% battery doesn't increase while charging.
This problem occured after I have purchased new display with touch complete.
I came to know that display with touch complete, is not original one.
