I got cores once but I can't confirm if it was related to having core harvest on. The other ghost mods definitely didn't seem to work

Use javelin-4 map. You load in on the zone.

This has been around since the expansion dropped (when they changed all the private crucible settings).
Some things I've noticed.
Crucible shaders can drop,
catalysts can drop (at least final warning),
pathfinder objectives can be completed,
catalysts can be completed most notably ones with crucible kill requirements (like suros regime, jade rabbit, etc. Vigilance wing i think only half works as i dont think you can get medals (although if you've played more than a couple matches of crucible you've probably finished that part) im not sure if catalyst quests gain progress (witherhoarde, ticcus, etc),
im pretty sure the ghost mods do work as ive gotten 3 legendary drops after a match with the mod that gives extra loot (although its only every 2-3 matches, i also mostly tested in zone control low score required to win and captured all zones for a quick win as winning is a requirement for some of the ghost mods).
It also briefly stopped working maybe a couple weeks ago? for about a week, at this same time 2 crucible maps in the private match settings which appears to be in alphabetical order changed places the anomaly and alter of flame, after that week it seems to have reverted and been working since.

Bungo came out like 6 months ago saying they would only bam macro users for macroing matchmade content

Wow, this was great. I needed 1 more completion for my Xenology quest and after seeing this figured why not. After a 5min match I checked and that quest was completed plus it awarded me the Jotunn catalyst after the match ended. Then I noticed you also received catalyst quest calibration completion progress as well so I did this several more times. During so I received the Jade Rabbit and Mida Multi-tool catalysts after a few matches. I never got cores or modules after the match but did get several weapons/armor (some matches just give you glimmer/crucible rep)

You can get ritual & crucible catalysts as well
Why do we get rewards from private matches all of a sudden? Surprised they haven't just removed that already

You can also do the orb challenge in a couple Mayhems if you use Bubble Titan w/ Lupi, normal Bubble or Well.

it looks like you could speed this up by selecting the lowest score threshold and having a friend or maybe alt account/bot continually uncap the zone so you can cap it again. That, or bring some friends/lfg, cap all 3 zones, and farm kills
At that point, the original Elim cheese would work better

Heh I noticed this when I did the orb cheese.
Same. I got rep from that control match and a Lost Signal drop, so I was very surprised it was still working. It seems Bungie 'fixed' the Survival game mode by making it eternal, it literally lever ends. I suspect they are unable to truly block the rewards from the private matches because it's too complicated so they basically made the matches unfinishable and the rest of the game modes most likely will follow the same fate.

Yes, for Survival. You literally never end that game mode, it's like an eternal draw, so you have to manually leave the match to do something else. I suspect the same fate will happen to all private modes.

too slow of a farm to be emergency patched it will probably be here until next week
Patched guys, now you return to orbit due to inactivity, but nothing a macro can't do...... The only ones affected will be console players, but they are already disadvantaged, without exptic class afk farm, without skate....

Couldn’t you do Zone Control for the match to end early by points? Or does this only work with regular control?
I tested it and didn't get any rep so the best option is regular Control.
Does the 10 minute match have a higher drop rate for crucible engrams? Doing this to focus a god roll Riptide.
More crucible ranks = more engrams

Unless you could figure out how to collect a mote and bank it with a macro and without dying, i dont think its doable in private gambit matches, tho i could be wrong and i dont doubt itll be the next iteration of this glitch when this inevitably gets patched

In practice, unless you can find a consistent way to bank a mote without dying while macroing, no.
If youre doing it manually, then in theory, it should work in gambit

So done this for an hour now, only got glimmer and rep, no weapons or cores, nothing!
been doin this for like a day and a half or so and already at prestige 3 with 51 engrams stored and lots of weapon and armor drops

bungo has some explaining to do, timeworn scout does 4755 to most far button behind relic, but when you reload 1st shot doesnt have 79m range, depends where you shoot on button its 3295-3355. edit: any place in mag after 2 rounds reload when you instantly shoot, so like most people use cure, 2 shots, reload, 2 shots, reload

Some people loathe PvP but really want certain crucible rewards or ranks
Also, you cant "play the game normally" while asleep, so its technically optimal
You should mention that using macros can get you banned, so do at your own risk.
bruh streamers and everyone are using macros to afk farm for exotic class items you aren't getting banned
Bungie came out like 6+ months ago and said macroing matchmade content is the only way youll get banned for it 😂😂😂😂😂

@@mawrde But streamers get treated differently by Bungie. If you look at the macro forums, like AHK forums, you'll see people posting about getting banned.
@KiloOscarZulu I've used macros for a core farm exploit, a legendary shard exploit farm, and now for the exotic class item and I've been fine
Or just play normal crucible lol
This is mainly afk farm. You can literally set up a Macro and go to sleep and leave your character 'playing' for you
