I was thinking to myself right before the half: “ain’t no way the same team that the Giants came back down 28-0 is gonna beat the supposed best team in the league” and that’s exactly what happened. Now I don’t know what’s gonna happen the rest of the year, but what I do know is that every year for the past like 4 years, the Cowboys start the year off looking unbeatable, only to maybe win one divisional round playoff game and that’s it.

While Dak has been struggling. And no more excuses, Dak then had Dez, Witten, and Cooper. So do a pro bowl check on those 3. Rush can throw that fade to Dez, that Dak can't. Just like he threw a fade to Cooper and Lamb. Dak needs to be taking notes of that. Because if Rush can do it, then Dak should be able to.

The Cardinals used the same gameplan the Eagles do against them. Commit to the run with multiple backs and the QB, and be physical with it. Run option plays so Micah is put into difficult situations.

The defense looked lifeless all game, like they had no edge or heart to them whatsoever. Couldn't stop the run or pass. Micah was non factor 90% of the game and had a gimme sack that didnt mean anything in the long run. Offense was down 3 linemen and was called for waay too many penalties that killed momentum.

I know this is 100% copium, but if I may say...it took literally EVERYTHING going wrong for the cowboys and EVERYTHING going right for the Cardinals for them to beat them, and even then the cowboys still had a chance to make a comeback until the last 5 minutes. Insane amount of penalties, self imposed mistakes, etc. I don't want to make excuses. The cowboys still lost and should be humbled, but if we are going to have one ugly loss this season, I am glad we got it out of the way early. Time to reconvene and try again next week. I won't take too much stock in this game when you consider everything that happened (missing 3 starting Oline, the gut punch of losing Diggs, not taking Arizona seriously) but if it happens again next week, then we have problems.
Point blank the Cowboys simply was not ready to play yesterday. They JUST lost Diggs Thurs so now they have to make adjustments to their defensive scheme. They came out flat footed and it showed. On the offensive side they were down their top 3 O linemen so it's not hard to see why they didn't play well yesterday. EVERY team in pro sports is going to have a bad game or a bad week. Neither the Eagles nor the 49ers, as great as those teams are, will finish undefeated. It's the nature of the beast we call the NFL!

You can be surprised that the Cardinals did it but if you paid attention the first two weeks they played against terrible OL who didn’t challenge their run defense. The Cardinals have a good OL and they can run the football. Run on them and stop them from running on you that’s the recipe to success against the Cowboys. Make Dak Prescott have to beat you he’ll have games where he throws for 300+ & multiple TDs but he’ll also have a game like yesterday too.

As a die hard cowboy fan, it is sad that the media cant breakdown this team correctly. Dallas has everything to be great this season. However the defense cant stop the run(look at the giants first drive of the game as proof). The offense actually will look good up until the redzone, this is why losing zeke was a dumb move. Most of our fans will say dak is a bad qb, i think if dak doesn't have to play from behind and only throw 25 to 30 max then he is okay. Head coach took over to call plays but missed a chance to put points on the board constantly and not watching the clock in the 4th. Penalties are starting to creep back up again. If Dallas can clear up those issues then they will be fine, if not we will end up like last year.
Dak is the scapegoat for some weird reason. He has virtually no weapons outside of Ceedee and this OLine is putrid. Losing Zeke was indeed a big blow

@CHA-fl5qf I wanted to mention the o line but wasn't healthy yesterday but the o line definitely has to get back to the level that we know. The weapons for Dak are there honestly, cooks and gallop has each shown they can get 1k yards receiving. They have to balance getting everyone the ball.

I watched the game, the Cowboys were just going through the motions with little effort and intensity. That is 100% on coaching. McCarthy clearly didn't have them ready through the week. Probably thought they would just walk over the cards and let the players have an easy breezy practice and film session.
